If you hold down Tab there is a scoreboard that shows the how many secrets you've found/the total amount of secrets in level, as well as kill count/total enemies. Make sure you can see the entire HUD at the bottom though.
The graphics here look awesome compared to the one I run on DOSBOX. What system are you using here and when did they remake it? I would have bought this instead of the old one off of ebay
For this playthrough, I used the Steam version of Quake powered by the custom built Darkplaces engine. If you want to know more about how to acquire this patch, look for my Introduction/The Slipgate Complex video from the same playthrough. It contains a link to the patch in the video description.
Do note that the patch is for the Steam version of Quake ONLY and won't work with the version you're using in DOSBox.
