What button does he press to have the attachments on the trunk release? My friends are in town after renting one, and we are clueless. There is a button on the keys, but that battery is dead. Are you out of luck?

its a good thing that the roof is manual because on most convertibles if the roof motor goes wrong than you are out of luck. i am so glad that pontiac came out with this brilliant idea. i think its less worry instead of having a motor roof.

the top build quality suck because water can get into the toneau cover a little bit. by far the mazda did the best job at creating mx5 fun, reliable, build quatily, and handling.

you can't close the roof from inside the car. it has been documented in every single review. You must secure the roof on both sides from outside as well.

Unless you have really short arms, I somehow don't see the need to get in and out of the car that many times, or walk over to the other side of the car to ssecure the other side.

O.K. seriously I test drove a Sky today - here is the process on getting it down.
1. while siting in the car, you hit a button in the glovebox - this pops the trunk.
2. get out of the car and lift the trunk up
3. while outside reach in there and hit the ONE latch that secures the top to the windshield (can be done ONE HANDED)
4. just fold the top back, again can be done one handed.
5. close trunk.
