@popote35 u still identify with the "ego" if you believe you need to change. You do not "gain" by enlightenment. You are already enlightened but have been conditioned to believe you need to "become" what you already are.
Deny all identity, and be not troubled by who gains from what. It is not selfish to recognize your true nature, K says it's a responsibility. The buddha left his wife n child to awaken, it's the most selfLESS thing one can do. You're ego wont see it this way, but We are all 1.
just the fact that you are teaching to others in natural nature weather ur own the computer or was there it calms peoples mind even in the unconscious level
@DeadJesus100 what I meant by Practice is to start believe in love,compassion... the world we raised up with huge competition,I forgot to think out of the box which is In our milky-way alone there are 400 billions of stars we have no Idea what is going on out there,Our problem is, we are fighting for our daily food, piece of land, every 6 seconds a child is dying in our planet via poverty this is suppose to be the daily head line News but we lost our way...
Can anyone explain this to me: K seems to say action is set up accordingly to a motivation (Fear of a loss/Desire of a gain...) but if we really want to change, how do we do it without having in mind the willing to be someone else, motivated by the gain it could bring ? Be a good person and take a few secs to tell me your opinion about it.
@popote35 Good point. If we are suffering, and are aware that we are suffering, then it cannot be wrong to want to end that suffering. One of the main problems seems to be , is that we are not aware of the seriousness of our dilemma. Dawkins says that human beings are 'robot -slaves of a selfish survival machine', nDNA. The slave does not think it is a slave, it thinks it is free. We think we are free. The 'me', the machine, tells us this, in order to keep control of the organism.
@2Crystalight Sorry for the delay in responding. i thought popote35 was referring to the seeming paradox of 'desire' as fear, and the 'desire' to be free from the egoic self.
@brianjsmith1895 To want to be free of that problem is another pattern. You will be trapped in the same old one; just a modified one that you just created by division. If you simply observe your suffering as a fact, and not an ideal. Then, it will drop naturally once you realize it. You need to understand that this "right" and "wrong" is misused a lot, and in the sense of the self; its part of the circle. Always creating its opposite, and more contradiction.
@xXxRebbelliousxXx Valid comment. The 'me' brings about its own suffering, and is not different from that suffering. So the 'me' cannot be that which observes. The big danger being that we can think we're aware, when ,in fact, it's just another image of the 'me'. There is only one way, that i know of, of being sure.
@brianjsmith1895 Yes,i agree. This "me" is a very tricky illusion. Its always trying to find some form of security to feel "safe".Following another's view would be acceptance, and thus comfort on one's part.To see it for oneself takes energy, and tremendous amount of attention. Not by concentration since that's another way of suppression. You must find out for yourself my friend.
Honestly I can feel what is he talking about but I'm finding hard to bring it to my mind and practice radical revolution in brain ..but I'm still gonna practice and try to change.
J. Krishnamurti has reach the state of complete peace, calmness, and love. It's the land that few have been to, and he wants us to arrive there. He's pretty lonely in that sense. It's like you're living in a perfect place, only by yourself (or with a few others out of all humanity). I wonder when, if ever, we'll all be in that same place. It's individual effort.
@JazzyKat2009 i think...he could had done it accidentally o.0. so, he place the mouse at the "like", suddenly black out, the mouse moved a bit, and he clicks! :P
What I enjoy most about J.K. is his sincerity. In this last phase of his journey he stopped using "I" in his talks and began using "The Speaker", to emphasize the role of the ego esp. in our internal conflicts. The really is no "I" speaking, and there really is no "You" listening.
Excellent quote: "The divine is everywhere and every one, so to whom shall I preach??"
Poor Krishnamurti, he died to soon, to see that his talks and his trying to change the world for the better has been forgotten. The world will continue on as the way it is, with organizations and religions, forever, until the end. And then we will realize.
It is a boundary set by society and literature that suggests one man can save all others. It's for everyone to do it themselves, for the benefit of all.
If we all act accordingly, we will evolve, we will advance. The word 'Peace' will need no definition, for it will come as standard. Not that "we" will benefit, but that's the role we must play, a segway of evolution.
@xaxisxophiodes there are barriers but we cant see them this is the secret of life doing without showing withot telling beacuse your the one that needs to do it.
Capitalism is the wage slavery of immense humanity in a politically manipulated MARKET SYSTEM of artificial scarcity and manipulation to perpetuate the conditions of servitude and exploitation of the working people in the interest of the owning/ruling elite. Capitalism is historically outdated, dangerous destructive ,dehumanising and devaluing all and everything in its insatiable, nomadic rampaging of profit . Capitalism is evil
Shall I keep quiet, if you are keeping quiet?? I am relatively new to the UGK's talks, but up till now my sense of him was that of a serious, dogmatic or at least pedantic man. But, slowly, I am coming to appreciate more and more the depth, not merely of his words, but of his humor. I think this is very profoundly entertaining.
@19grand - Actually, I realize I made a mistake in that message. I meant J.K., for Jiddu Krishnamurti. But the substance is the same, profound respect and amusement for The Speaker :)
This is not a lecture, there is no intention on the part of the speaker to guide you, to help you, to inform you about something...but we are going to deliberate ... lol
....we are ALL born with pure love, just as we get older, distractions and broken hearted creep in, and before you know it, you have lost the first sense of pure love, later, you use the hardened love to comfort yourself and the new person etc. Well, this is the case for most of us these days; by the way the world is today.
What he says is really wise but the bad part of the hole picture is that people want to hear but they dont listen, i mean you want answers there are man of wisdom that give answer all over the world just listen!.Thanks for the video
if you like these talks, check out videos of eckhart tolle or osho... they are also spiritual teachers. please if anyone can recommend me any other spiritual teachers i'd be very thankful.. i love watching videos like these
Nature that exists closest to us, like the birds singing or the sound of the wind is a central part of K's teaching. Observing the world around us without judging and comparing is how K hoped to set us all free.
Also, it is so fascinating how you can hear the birds singing behind Krishnamurti's voice in all his videos filmed outdoors. The birds singing are like the soundtrack to Krishnamurti. Very funny.
@mmajedi yes we can.... When a lion will kiss an antilope when the sun will freze and when jesus will comeback..What are you demanding is basicly givingup on your nature as an animal you cant just love. Beacuse you werent born like this hating is natural as loving and giving up to it its like killing a part of yourself. Why in the universe we have plus and minus two comletely diferent things that atract each other? Why do we have a man and a women two completely diferent things to create a life?
