I've been there & downtown Phx was still a ghost town. The main thing they talk about out there is " In 10 yrs Phoenix will be bigger than L.A." Well its been 10 yrs since they've said that and its nowhere near the size of a small city in L.A.

I live in Central Phoenix and I hate it. Downtown is a ghost town during the summer, or if theres no events at the convention center, summers are unbearable, theres nothing much to do, the houses are ugly, etc. I'm getting out of this dump once I'm old enough.

South Phoenix is ghetto. Downtown is a mix of nice stuff and ghetto shit its very wierd how they can co-exist. Overall though phoenix lacks culture and isvery boring and hot in summertime. scottsdale and tempe are fun but not as big as vegas.

i miss arizona, i was born in scottsdale in 1988 and i grew up in tempe, i had a great time living in arizona, until my dads company went out of bussiness, but he found a job in florida. i was 10 years old when me and my family moved to florida. i hate florida, the drivers are stupid, not very many nice people (there are nice people though), and some people get mad very fast over stupid things. i miss arizona, i miss my friends, i miss everything that i loved about arizona. phoenix is a great place to spend a lot on gas money and jump from air conditioner to air conditioner. notice all the outdoor activity going on in the vid?such an easy place to commute without a car. you can spend a alot of money on the shitty buss system if you really cant afford a car, oh and its extremely bike friendly too, considering iv almost got ran over buy lifted trucks, theirs alot of aggressive lifted trucks by the way. and great outdorr fun. NOT!

Yes there are many Chinese restaurants in Phoenix and throughout the Mountain States. A lot of asian people reside in Arizona and Utah. Most transplants from California.

Regarding jobs market...

When I first moved in here, I had to look for jobs for 1 month. God blessed me and I had a job. Now, I've been laid off (financial problems on the institution I worked for), besides my manager, and others.

In some days, I found another job, and although I was supposed to start working next Monday, the company called me to start working tomorrow, as they need my services in IT.

Well... with GOD only ahead!
