My guess is that if a woman doesn't feel comforatble, she isn't fit enough to wear high heels and walk in them the right way. Woman at 0:45 is example of one who can pull it off. Platforms are ugly; some women think they are sexy because of the high heel, but the platform negates much of the appeal.
