It wouldn't hurt them if they remake this awesome game. Just make it with a better graphics, and do not change the original soundtrack. If they want a cash, I am pretty sure a lot of people would buy this game, even the hater. Sephitorth has 0HP in this fight, meaning if somehow you managed to stop him countering, or attacking. Like if you somehow managed to use steal, he will die afterwards.

I remember the FIRST time I beat this game. I just sat there and waited for a bit, to see what Sephiroth would do. He attacked me. Nearly killed me. So I went to use the Limit and Cloud Auto-Countered and one-shot Sephiroth... I cried myself to sleep that night

This is one of the most satisfying boss battles ever created. First time we played through, we we're like "Whoa, what's that limit break?" Cloud just beats the shit out of Sephiroth, for good.... wait, scratch that. Movie sequels, anyone? *cough cough* It's not like everyone gets Omnislash the first time around.

And it's cool how detailed this battle in specific is. The characters, I mean.

They don't make the games as good nowadays. They just call it game and praise the "design".

Square Enix has stopped doing remakes... FF1,2,3,4,5,6 were all of it's remakes...

FF1 remade on PS1, GBA and PSP. FF2 remade on the same as FF1. FF3 is remade only for the DS. While FF4 was remade on the GBA And DS. FF5 and 6 is only remade on FF5 And 6 for PS1 And GBA. I was hoping for a FF5 and FF6 as a 3d remake for the PSP and DS. But it's obviously not for me to decide... I think FFXI was a problem for me since I don't have a decent connection to play it and it was the only way...

when u fight sephiroth, u automatically get omnislash in the end. when they start the battle after u kill safer sephiroth, ur limit builds up automatically and u can only use omnislash.

i'm a final fantasy vii fan, but i recognize that for some people it's not a great game. the same kind of people that thinks the story of metal gear is the worst part of the game, and thinks re4 is better than re3 just because it has better grafics.
