IMO, the so-called Sonic 3D was the worst game in Sega's history. After hyping the hell out of Sonic X-Treme (which should've been the first Sonic game in real 3D) they released a 2D game calling it 3D because they knew Sega fans were hyped for a forthcoming 3D Sonic game. We had to wait for Sonic Adventure to have an actual 3D sonic game.
