Jay had a way better lower back it was ripped to shreds.where as rons wasnt so great at all..jay had better lats and way better leg definition as well.and of course rons stomache as always is big and bloated. jays was hard and shreded. jay won easily..guess ron was bloated from tha steroids

you are right about his back. one of his lats was a lot smaller than the other one. overall, ronnie wasn't as full. the judges expected him to be bigger than the previous year.
Ronnie has an amazing amount of muscle but I feel he has gotten way to bulky. He does have better symetry then Cutler I thought. I think the best bodybuilder of all time was Lee Haney
Ronnie has sort of messed it up for himself a little bit now. He's spent the last year working so hard that he did a little bit too much bulking and as a result doesn't have the defenition that he has had in past years. He is pushing on a bit now but definately still has a good few years left to compete at such a high level. If he can get his defenition back then he is the best, no doubt. Its nothing that I can spot too much personally, but the judges saw what happened.
Ronnie is a legend simple as that. i dont believe he should have won every one of those Sandow's though. i dont think he will be mr Olympia again neither particularly if phil Heath puts on another 20lbs of muscle in the right places, return of the aesthetic bodybuilder with Flex Wheeler mark 2 !!

Ronnie is perhaps the greatest bodybuilder ever, but there is no way Jay doesn't win this contest. He is in better conditioner, more improved and just more symmetrical than Ronnie. The most obvious is in the abdominal area, it isn't even close. Plus the overall muscle separation everywhere...I don't think Ronnie will win in 2007 based on history. The last time a Mr.Olympia lost his title after only holding it for one year was back in 1984 when Samir lost to Haney.
viewing this contest in person, it my my opinion that victor brought the best package....unfortunately i think that he knew that...it was evident in his lack of agression in his posing.However i'm ever mindfull that there is heavy politics envolveed in the O. placings

ronnie was bigger overall, but not his back. he was holding water in his back, and it wasnt as wide as it usually is. This is the only reason he lost. Because his back wasnt as good.

you are right about his back. one of his lats was a lot smaller than the other one. overall, ronnie wasn't as full. the judges expected him to be bigger than the previous year.

Ronnie has an amazing amount of muscle but I feel he has gotten way to bulky. He does have better symetry then Cutler I thought. I think the best bodybuilder of all time was Lee Haney

Ronnie has sort of messed it up for himself a little bit now. He's spent the last year working so hard that he did a little bit too much bulking and as a result doesn't have the defenition that he has had in past years. He is pushing on a bit now but definately still has a good few years left to compete at such a high level. If he can get his defenition back then he is the best, no doubt. Its nothing that I can spot too much personally, but the judges saw what happened.

Ronnie is perhaps the greatest bodybuilder ever, but there is no way Jay doesn't win this contest. He is in better conditioner, more improved and just more symmetrical than Ronnie. The most obvious is in the abdominal area, it isn't even close. Plus the overall muscle separation everywhere...I don't think Ronnie will win in 2007 based on history. The last time a Mr.Olympia lost his title after only holding it for one year was back in 1984 when Samir lost to Haney.

Ronnie is one of the bests ever, he still looks fucking huge and ripped, but his back was gone this year (did he trained his back this winter???) His left lat was shitty but he still looked amazing. Jay was, simply the best, better than Ron, more simmetrical, separated and proportioned. Jay got it. HELL YEAH! :D

They were both in great condition this year, two titan bodybuilders, personally im a big ronnie fan, but i do think in ways they both won, but the medal can only go one way... ronnie is bigger... jays 2 inches shorter and slightly wider naturally, so has wider lats, ronnies legs were monster :S great athletes,

To be honest, if you watch the video towards the end when they are doing the side by side comparisons and use the pause button and really look, you can see that Jay had way more striations visible than Ron. See for yourself. I think Jay won fair and square.
