@Shadowsofheartagram In my opinion it is by far their worst full-length album. disappointing release from a band brimming with potential, smile has a few good moments like track 4 and 5, but they are nothing special and just keep the album treading water. They changed Umbrella and botched it, it sucks. The Japanese version has a great bass lead in and better mixing, its classic. They changed the American version blows. Its boring and uninspired . I listened to it once & tossed it.

Buzz in starts with pointless baby noises and may be their shortest song ever, nothing noteworthy they sound like and run of the mill garage band. Lazer beam is okay but it ends with this weird acoustic guitar that kills the momentum. The last track is a mess, first half goes nowhere and the last 9 minutes repeat over and over. I like Boris but this sucked.
i have a request - but do you just have to do one album? i understand that's your concept, but can you break the rules? i was thinking you could do your favorite modest mouse album and your least favorite. do you listen to them? i have many things to say. I'll match your video.
I'm a big Boris fan, but this album is AWFUL
