There is a simple explanation of why there is a lot less residue in the "homicidal gas chambers" than there is in the infestation gas chambers.Think about it.They homicidal gas chamber had to be hosed down and/or cleaned after each usage so as to hide from the next group their fate.meanwhile the deinfestation chamber was smaller and no need to clean the residue because no need to hide the purpose. if you have 100 dead people to remove must clean it regularly, that is less time gas is present

1. I never said they washed it down for the residue.I was thinking more of the blood and human excrement that would be present in the room where people were gassed to death.People would know if they walked into a room that was filled with blood and as they washed it down some of the residue was washed away also.Again the chambers used for de-lousing matresses used a much higher concentration and for a lot longer.

2. To get the people to go in without going nuts and causing problems. Obvious.
