I have Roccat kone+ and I suppose so its MUCH better than old Kone because its better quality and VERY GOOD GAMING!!!! Driver is a little better and easyshift is good but a little bugged :)

I've regretted buying this mouse since day one.

Out of the box i had issues: clicking left and right mouse buttons within a short space of time can result in it thinking you've pressed the middle mouse button. After less than 6 months of use it now thinks pressing once on a left click means i want it to send the signals for 2 or more clicks (great way to mass genocide browser tabs when you didn't want to).

Im currently looking at Cyborg RAT 9 or RAT 7 mice.

Yea im defo buying the roccat kone V2. Just sending my DA respawn back at the moment. I cannot afford the new Kone + the extra DPI and new features i would not use. The thing that i want to know is about the newer TCU system they have got.

Im game at 800 dpi which i think is classed as low? im a serious gamer. Alot people just telling me to get a microsoft explorer 3.0 as it has low lift off and is good for low sens gaming.

I have have a roccat kone V2 but sold it because it didnt seem to track well. I did try it with the TCU on and it made my mouse movement worse. I did use it with a razer goliathus speed standard and the mouse was second hand. Maybe the surface didnt do it justice.

The KONE+ only has higher DPI and a better scroll wheel. It also cost 30 pound more. Not really worth the extra over the V2.

the thing is with dpi, if you set it to max and then turn town your mouse sensitivity in windows your mouse if MUCH smoother and precise

Well i had bought the Roccat Kone, i tell you how i exprienced the mouse

- it fits terrible in your hands

- the wire is terrible! it wil curl very fast

- the weights pops out sometimes

(srry for the bad english but i think you guys know what i mean)

conclusion i throwed away my roccat kone and stick to my logitech g9.

Thanks for your comment, although many of your problems don't represent the product.

It may not fit in YOUR hands, but I fit in mine, and everyone prefers different shaped mice!

The wire was fine for me, If it does curl - Pinch it from the top and pull down to let it untwist.

My weight never popped out - but it may happen on some mice I'm not sure.

Im low sens and lift the mouse many times so i think thats the reason why the weight pops out,,, so i dont recommand it for low sensers

Hello mate cool review, i have a roccat kone as well, for almost a year now, and a week ago the scroller/ middle mouse got loose, and now no scrolling available. Im trying to open it but there are no screws, i really dont want to scratch it or damage it. Any ideas on how to extract the outer shell??? Other than that i am very satisfied with the mouse! thanks in advance

It means your mouse is broke, it's a common problem with the v1. Same thing happened to me. Take it back to the place you bought it and they should give you a free replacement as long as you have proof of purchase.

Hey, I'm not actually using this mouse anymore, but when I was using it it sometimes moved tiny amounts by itself which could be annoying.

Apart from that is worked pretty well :)

I've finally bought this mouse, arrived a week ago. I'm very pleased with it, but one thing is: the wheel, when I scroll with it, seems a wee loose. Is it a normal thing, or it's supposed to be a bit more tight, like at every scroll up or down you're supposed to meet some resistance?

highest is 4000 dpi by razer. butdon't get fooled by that! any surface get only like 1500 dpi or maybe a little bit more! and good gaming pads (or gaming surfaces what ever) get like 3200 dpi max.. so it's batter to spend less money for this or Icon7 z500 gaming mouse witch uses evereything the same as logitech gamimg mouses but it's like 20$ with 3200 dpi!

The lechasis is claw-grip mouse.

it's not the most comfortable, but the rubbered plastic is nice. the clicks are different from any other mice.

the scroll wheel button is kinda hard to press. 4000 dpi function is useless. even 2000 is way too much...

if you are right handed get the Razer Deathadder or the Diamondback 3g. best mice razer can offer.

First of all...u can not order it directly from roccat...secondly, if u are in the store try to open the box of the roccat on the front. V2 has got a magnet and you can get the mouse on your hands through the plastic. It also says 'roccat kone max customisation' on the top front of the box.

Totally up to you - both superb mouses. If you can, go to your local large computer shop and see if they've got 1 or both on display, and see which one you like the feel of most. It would be just personal preference on which one looks as if it would fit your hand better!

Most likely a driver conflict. The easiest way to possibly fix this is to format your PC and start again, But I understand this isn't the most practical of options to fixing your PC. Other than that I don't really know what could be causing the problem.

well, they don't need to do any more mice for awhile since, Kone, is a multi award winning product, and it has prettymutch EVERYTHING you would need, there is enough sensityvity and dpi, weights, macroable buttons, 4 way wheel, TCU , and, well you should know since you have the mouse. but anyways the kone won about 22 awards,but thats only the awards that the site shows.

actually the mouse with highest dpi is the razer mamba with 5400 i think, 3200 is by far more than you can ever need btw

yes the mamba has the most dpi, can be used as a cordless or corded mouse, but still very fast response... but it costs ALOT. fucking more than 100 bucks. Then we get the lachesis, fast response, light weight, 12 programmable keys, 4000dpi, not right-handed but feels nice but... ALSO COSTS ALOT . 90 bucks. or 80, but i bought it when it was new. then roccat, has EVERYTHING you need. and got mine for 50 bucks.
