  • It is amber quite expensive used in jewelery but they are old and take a while to form

  • do you live on a fucking battlefield?

  • The first brass you picked up is a .303, K is Kynoch, 51 is 1951, and the 7 (or VII on older brass) in this case is Mk7 ball round (normal FMJ)

  • did u take it to a gemologist yet?

  • My country is full of such military things. All sort of ww2 helmets, guns, grenades, mines and so on. Really interesting stuff.

  • where do you live that you find this stuff?

  • just a question: do you take these shells you find and then you use them in your guns?

    Thanks :D

  • The K bullet is a 7.92x57 mm Mauser caliber armor-piercing bullet which has a tool steel core and which was designed to be fired from a standard Mauser rifle. It was used by the German infantry against the first British tanks in World War I. The K bullet had a probability of approximately one-third to penetrate armor 12-13 mm thick up to a distance of 100 meters.

  • those crystals are amazing, idn't what they are, but you should send me some? :)

  • Alot of the bullet finds there look quite modern could u please let me no if they are??

  • Hum. All that brass kinda makes me think - Shooting range? Demonstration area? Testing range?

  • where did you find them?

  • kryptonite :D

  • Where the hell do you live? I'm want some, too!

  • The head stamp probably indicates it was made by Kynoch of England of 1951 manufacture.

  • thanks! makes perfect sense.

  • Do you cut these down in size and make them into equipment?

  • nvm dumb question lol

  • amber

  • thosecystal look like a smoky quartz

  • those crystals are rare compounded elements. It is currently un-named, but they are composed of lage amounts of uranium, iron, and gold fused together. Scientists suspect that volcanic activity fused them together hundreds of years ago. It is very rare and therefore is worth millions...it is not radioactive for a reason that scientists have not yet figured out... but... YOU'RE RICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, btw, i have no idea wat i was saying, :)

  • lol

  • you made it sound so real lol

  • @jinkop007 Uranium? Are you sure because mpst uranium is used to make nuclear materials! We dont wanna see a mutant Tacome1942 right?

  • the only military surplus rifle that fires an 8x56 cartridge that i know of is a steyr 1895 carbine i own one there pretty cheap rifles and if you have your C&R FFL you can have it shipped directily to your door

  • wow vary cool love your work keep it up

  • hmm its so close to 7.5x55 i dont get it 8x56cmon what is it!

  • wheres waldo?

  • ITS KRYPTONITE

  • have you just orded these off the internet

  • How can you know? I find hundreds of fire off shells and other bits of stuff on my trecks. It ain't rare to find them.

  • Be carefull concerning the shrapnell shell and the amber pieces: ''We report 4 cases of white phosphorus burn injuries due to an exceptional accident mechanism. All casualties were holidaymakers in a coastal area at the Baltic Sea and confused white phosphorus ammunition residues with amber on a beachwalk. The supposed treasure was taken into the pants pocket. The phosphorus substances ignited spontaneously when they dried because of the body heat''

  • thanks for the heads up! i always try to keep those things in mid when i hunt. but it's highly unlikely that they would have shot WP shells here in TX, the camp still have issues with "wild fires" from practice drills and such even today so i think they mainly stuck with conventional HE, AP, and such. but u could be still right, i mean, who knows right?

  • @Tacome1942 I just wanna know which type of a round makes more sound : An AP(Armour piercing) or a normal round. Any type of round 50. BMG 44. 45. 308. any.

  • The mystery cases are .303 British (7.7 x 56R mm) for Lee Enfield Carbine.

I bet the stamp reads K5 1942 VII (the 942 are faded)

  • There ain't no Lee Enfield Carbine that fires .303. The only "Carbine" of the Lee Enfield is the De lisle Carbine which fired off .45 ACP.

  • How about the Enfield Jungle Carbine? ;)

But you're right. The Enfield usually is considered to be a 'rifle'

Where I live -some exceptions aside- any historic military rifle with bolt action is called 'carbine'. Therefore the confusion.

  • @BOT101st The Lee Enfield No 5 Jungle Carbine fires a .303 round!!

  • @7Callerton

    That's an americanism, jungle carbine...

proper term for it is No.5 Mk1 ;)

  • i think your right on

  • the stamp only reads "K51 7" but from what i saw (google images and diagrams), i think we have a winner!

i mean, Enfield carbine is a reasonable item many people own. thank you!!

  • @Tacome1942 Hey Tacome I have a question. How do you make all your Paper and Cardboard Guns? Please reply :)

  • its amber if you can melt it right??

  • yeah it's amber (wood rezin) some people make jewlery (i think i misspelled it...) from it!

  • the crystals are amber =P

  • @dvarfa1

amber lamps? are made from it?

  • The crystal thing is glass I think... I found the same shit from my moms dads dads farmhouse. Except it was green...

  • CIVIL WAR HAPPENED THERE!

  • I think the crystal is just regualr amber, doubt you'd find topaz or something like that in those quantities

  • Your mystery cartridge could be a rimmed 8x57 IS

  • Cool finds. Isn't 9mm equivalent to .35?

  • where are u from ?

  • o ya on the 5.56 it is locktight is for a sealant so the primer doesnt move

  • the crystals looks like amber.

  • whats with the litle kid screaming in the background?

And if only you found 2 more .357's you could have had a set. XD

  • lol, the thing is..... i just happen to have two .357s in reserve (from my grand dad's yard)

  • The you should make a .357 revolver! Just like you made that SAA.

  • oh maby brown amethest i seen that before sorry but just a thought

  • hey k31? 7.5x55 i think look into it okay swiss k31 i bet its it
