  • I was just asking why does this make anything helpful? Cause you have it on your desktop. . .

  • @basicxml it doesn't really.....personally i have nothing on my desktop. everything is pinned to my taskbar. and all i see is a unobscured slideshow of my wallpapers. maybe others do the same thing...

on a second note, it's easier just to pin the recycle bin inside your pinned windows explore. assuming you have windows explore pinned.....

  • Apply + O.K. is superfluous.

  • I turn the recycle bin off. Delete means delete to me. Not storing them in the recucle bin and then empty it after a while.

  • Nice video but how can I remove the Recycle Bin from the desktop because after your way of making another 1 in taskbar I'll get 2 of those and don't make any sense to me ^^

  • what do you think of windows 8?

  • Your voice totally goes with that little simpson version of you.

  • anyway to make it possible to drag something onto that folder to delete it?

  • nice♥

  • a nice little tip! i didnt know about this one!

well its not so much i didnt know than.. it just never occured to me...

  • 0:55 windir rules lol i like arntor, ein windir

  • Wow...one click to view the recycle bin instead of two clicks. Will miracles never cease?!

  • but i want it to be functional while in taskbar ( no need to open it )

  • I don't use Recycle bin - I use shift + delete

  • You can't click and drag a file to that shortcut which kinda sucks :| If I had that I would use this. Thanks for the vid in any case.

  • Thought everyone with some common sense used shift+delete

  • @zomfger agree

  • please for the love of god, buy or make a POP filter for your mic! thanks

  • Hey I wanted to pin a shortcut to my mp3 folder which is a on a separate drive yet it won't let me it ends up pinning libraries...makes no sense

  • nuh D: wont work for me when i hold it over the bar it show a red circle and a / in it.. :( and yes i did it with the %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe shell:RecycleBinFolder thingy..

  • Thank you!

  • You should also have shown how to remove the recycle bin from the desktop.

  • why did microsoft disable adding the recycle bin to the taskbar withoud using this trick?

  • I have some problems with playback of all media files (HD, SD) and even games. It's a random distortion of audio and visual flow. Just like the glitchy sound effects in "The Matrix". I'm not kidding. When I'm using the VLC, it's a lot more likely to occur.

I suspect it's a hardware thing. And even though I've posted this on many forums, I still haven't got an answer. Weird thing is that my problem stays consistent no matter what OS I'm using. Does anyone know what it is?

  • @Nitrozzy7 Probably the GPU. I had a similar experience (but in games) with my 9800 GT a while back.

  • @Umbra360 That's what I was afraid of. My laptop is getting really old and cranky. Thunx!

  • U already did this video

  • I thought you did a video on this already??

  • @wwyk1993 Hi, yes, I admit I did do a video about this, but this one has a small added detail I did not put in the last one. Sorry about that.

  • @PCWizKid Coolio.

  • Does anyone know how to take off the sign when you empty the recycle bin?

"are you sure you want to permantently delete..." its really anoying

    i need help! :)

  • Thou art awesome.

Is it possible to make the taskbar hide completely? I'm asking this cause there's a one-pixel-wide line that remains visible, when the taskbar is hidden.

  • Everyone just use rocketdock. com its a mac style dock this tip is completely pointless its actually stupid come on pcwizkid your recent videos are for the completely retarted computer user first dont post anymore of these lame videos second make a video like how to completely make windows xp look like windows 7 or something of that nature something more complex these little tips are boring and so easy to do

  • @CiviC894G That uses a shit load of memory! And yes I do agree that this tip is pointless.

  • @langer1972 What uses a shit load of memory if you actually have some memory like 2-8 gb's of ram the memory that rocketdock uses is nothing it uses around 2 mb's so yea!

  • @CiviC894G Idiot this is for those that do not want to use 3rd party software. What don't you upload tutorials if this bothers you so much. And if its something simple then why waste your time watching and commenting on the video?

  • @Brusier47 Calling me an idiot your the idiot for responding to my comment really you think your time telling me what you have is going to change my mind tell someone who cares :]

  • @CiviC894G Coming from someone who likes state the obvious wasting time is also something you thoroughly enjoy not to mention raging? Now you're acting happy using smiley faces lmfao.

  • @CiviC894G You aren't any better than him

  • @CiviC894G shuuuuttt..... yourrr..... shut your fucking face uncle fucker..... shut your ass fucking face mother fuckerrr.....

  • @CiviC894G yeah... and rocketdock also uses up quite alot of system memory, and is usually always infront of everything (firefox for instance, i open it, and rocketdock is suppose to go behind the firefox window but it doesent...)

  • @TheMagicalTouch It doesnt not use alot of system memory it uses around 2 mb's i dont know how that could be alot and hmm maybe if you looked in the preferences of the rocketdock you would find the option to either have it ontop of windows or below it doesnt always stay ontop of say firefox aslong as your puny mind knows how to figure out teh settings :]

  • thanks

  • Was this re-uploaded???

  • @hamster2880 no

  • This method has a drawback though. You can't empty it by right clicking, even if you shift click it. A method I found a while ago was to enable the quick launch bar (I think, but I can't remember how.. Maybe it was just a regular folder toolbar?) and add the recycle bin to it. Then you could right click it and empty it like normal. But I couldn't live with it because it wasn't even with the rest of the taskbar and the other icons weren't lined up with the bottom which made clicking them harder

  • @PCWizKid - Check out MiniBin (e-sushi.net)! It resides in the systray and features a native-looking icon. You can empty the bin from it (right-click menu) and has lots of themes. I like the Aerodyne theme.

  • GENIUS
