Not really.. This is song is sung by Astrud Gilberto, yes.. but the song was composed by Antonio Carlos (Tom) Jobim & Vinicius De Moraes. In later years, Astrud began singing/recording that same song.

"Água de beber" means potable water, or water good for drinking. It's a Bossa Nova song by Brazilian Vinicius de Moraes and Antonio Carlos Jobim. It's in the figurative meaning I assume, since the lyrics say: "I wanted to love but was afraid, but love knows a secret that may kill the heart..." and goes on. Think it fits in Betty's story. Superb!
