Nesta música, e em outras deste disco, a afinação não está em 440, mas nunca consegui saber o porque. ao vivo o Rourke usava dois baixos, um com a afinação normal e outro em que a quarta corda era afinada em F#. O Marr também usava uma guitarra afinada um tom acima e outra na afinação normal. Músicas como this charming Man e Girl Afraid eram tocadas com a guitarra afinada mais agudo.
