I chose this part of Cannon in D for my wedding when I walked. After I watch my wedding video numerous times, I felt in love with this part of the music and decided to learn it. Thanks for the tutorial, great help!
to all those having a hard time playing two handed: The first time I tried to learn a song on piano I was having the exact same problem. I tried to learn each part for each had separately and then play them together, but I couldn't keep each hand in time with each other. Then I imagined that instead of having two hands I just have one big hand and learned to play the parts for both hands at the same time. Now suddenly playing with two hands is just as easy as playing with one.
I have a hard time playing piano because I have VERY small hands . So pretty much I stick to beginner versions of songs I want to play.I can only get my hands to stretch like barely one octave ;A;
Anyone know what I can do about these infuriating ADS that play through and then freeze just before the actual video I want to watch starts? Grr.
I recently found your tutorials and I think they're great. Helps me a lot, as reading music is not something I have ever found easy. Seems no matter how hard I try I can't get fluent in it. Playing is something I can do fairly well when I know the notes, however.
hahaha I'm trying to memorize this by tonight because I'm going to use this for a project in Music but unfortunately, I'm short on time but, It was really fun :D I memorized at least a half of the song :))
@padmeluvs i learn all by myself. Its really hard in the beginning but with a little practice you can make it belive me. I'm only an ordinary person ;)
@padmeluvs this is how i do it... i play by syncing the left and right hand together, instead of giving them separate parts think of them playing together as buddies :D like which notes play at the same time and if this note, played by the left hand, comes after this note, played by the right hand, thats why i hate tutorials that show you each left and right hand parts separately and dont show you how they are played together. i hope that helps, and if not you, maybe somone else (:
@padmeluvs Well... I played the full version by ear. These are some tips which I did to play both hands. I loop the song and hear to get a feeling of the tones. To coordinate the both hands, I will usually master my right hand first. Then I concentrate on my left hand, while my right hand is "auto mode". The most important thing is to have the feel of the song, then you can play smoothly. All the best :)
@padmeluvs Im taking piano lessons. The thing with the right hand and left hand thing is they collide together. They play together .They dont play by their selves so thats why when you look at the sheet music you see left hand will be playing c,e,g when right hand is playing a c then will change from that too left hand c and right hand will change too e. they never play not on same time or it wont work. if they played at their own pace it would mess up. its confusing to explain .i hope u get it
@padmeluvs - I started learning piano only 3 weeks ago and fell the same. Getting better now by practice. start with something like big bad goblin blues and practice practice practice. Your brain will do the work and it will get easier.
@wartoq Yes. I changed the key to make it easier for beginners. I leave the "in D" in the title because it is often known with that as part of the name. Thank you for the comment.
how long is the song for the easy version?
