Many, many years ago when they first started out and became popular, I walked past here in a London street. Because I recognized her I was staring at her and she looked at me and gave me a big smile :D
Thanks for the anecdote, 'J'. I liked 'em best before they moved deeper into the mainstream. They've always been a quality act, are still hugely popular and deservedly so.
I just remember, as a kid, being shocked at the turnaround of this album. It's great music as always, but without the chilly magic of their earlier work.
This fucking song is all SO how I'm feeling at present, the lyrics ring SO true.

That bridging guitar thing, as used again in Hole's 'Violet'- just that 2 seconds of 'dimdimdidiiim'- evokes so much...Haha I'm a loser.

I guess not every Eurythmics song whose title begins with "Here Comes..." can be a winner

Me neither, I love the eastern sound the keyboards make.
It is soo good to hear this song again.
Thanks x 100 for posting.
Another thing I've noticed is the delayed singing in this song is similar to Alice In Chains' 'Junkhead' song.

@tomkyriacou I love this song as well. Had a great hit potential as well. The keyboard solo was I think written and performed by Michael Kamen

Thank you for the info on the keyboard part, I never would have guessed who played it.
And I definitely agree that it would've made an excellent hit.
