I have had to "recondition" my girlfriend, but she does now understand that I DO have emotions, and that they are of equal worth to her own.

Great video, ArgusEyes. I agree 100% about the myth of females being more "socially adept" as men. For example, in every customer service job I have ever worked, the most rude, obnoxious people I dealt with were women 98% of the time.

Growing up in a feminist house, I was 20 before I first heard a female say something nice about men.

I was at a railway station when my girlfriend said out of the blue "you know, Men are really wonderfull".

And factory2590's are downright bitter. Yours seem to focus more on the logic and reasoning of specific topics, whether or not they're wrong, and why they're wrong.

I am impressed with how civil and calm Warren is when he is interviewed, he just spews forth facts and logical argument that you can't deny.

This is the most effective way to present your case, I get angry at times but when you write angrily then you end up in a slanging match. I've done this recently with a woman from the "men are more oppressed than women" thread. I called her a monster, not useful.

Ha! I knew it. I'm listening to an interview about it on youtube and of all the points Warren makes the one I find the most compelling is the fact that men, as a gender, are expendable.

Men make up the majority of suicides. 85% of the homeless, 97% of workplace deaths, 99% of deaths in war, and on average live 8 years fewer than women do.

And the fact that MRA's decide ignore this elephant in the room to talk about divorce court and paternity fraud makes me ill.

thats actually a very interesting point. Also, did you know that even though the ratio of men:women in the world is pretty much the same, its a fact that you're 5% more likely to have a male child. This is to accomodate for casualties, because we men are more likely to die, its proven by the most credible source known - our own built-in instincts and body mechanisms.

It's like society so totally depends on men being expendable that, when it comes to our civil rights, were to be permanently denied a hearing in the court of popular opinion for as long as possible.
