This made me cry. Hearing Clint's voice reminded me of my grandad, who was alot like Clint in this movie - both getting irritable and anxious as they faced uncertainties in their last years. They both felt today's youths were self-absorbed and disrespectful & they wanted children to listen. I wanted to give this movie to my grandad for Christmas but never got the chance. When he died, he left $ to his kids - and left me with his camel-haired coat. I think of him every single time I wear it.

I Love this Film. I Love this Music . Clint Eastwood is a great actor, but when it comes to directing he is a genius. I admire his work. There are very few directors (alive) coming close to him. His Son is a fine musician.

To be fair, the point of the movie was for Walt to find happiness he originally thought he'd find with the torino. His attempt to get over the horrors of the korean war. His attempts were mentioned as raising a family and his wife but when she died he realized he still felt the same. Enter Tao who Walter influenced and mentor'd in doing so, He finally was at peace knowing he had a positive influence on someone and sacrificed himself so that tao wouldn't turn out like him.
