@4RFD4 you can use 1260 x 1920 on internal resolution for that, and make sure that you are using a PAL BIOS and PAL Game to avoid some texture problems

@4RFD4 PCSX2 is RAM and CPU intensive. Your RAM should be good, but your CPU doesn't have a very great clock speed. My system struggles too. More to do with the software than the Hardware though, since each new version of PCSX2 released lags far less.

@zveki1000 i had an e8400 that could run on a 40 dollar air cooler at 4.0ghz, which makes PCSX2 run faster than on almost any stock quad core PC. PCSX2 only uses two cores. Your overclock would directly improve your experience with PCSX2. The difference between 3.0ghz and 4.0ghz is pretty huge, but in general you want to be over 3.0ghz on two cores to have a good PCSX2 experience. That and a video card with dx11 helps. Make sure you select the sse4.1 plugin too. That will end with a speed boost.

@Naroon201 2.12ghz intel core 2 duo...you dont need anything higher as older pcsx2 versions dont have much compatability in games like versins today have...i can play tekken 5 and gow 1-2 with high fps with newest build...all need to do is set ee=3 and vu to 2 in speed hacks nothing else...newest builds for pcsx2 are at emucr.com...

Intel Cpu-s are beter because, they support ssse3 and more. AMD CPU-s support SSE2, SSE3 not ssse3, and the graphic plugin works beter whit ssse3. And otherwise Intel is beter then AMD. AMD is slower. You need, 4 core CPU-s. I buy a Intel Core I5-760 cpu, and you need Ram, and video card to. I hawe 6 Gigabyte DDR3 1333Mhz, and Asus GTX 550 Ti 1GB DDR5 card. But you can use AMD cpu- to, but minimum Phenom II x4, but then you hawe dont the ssse3 support.
