I went to the shelter the other day and i found a cute little female pomeranian puppy that i had named Mugsey. I dont understand why these dogs end up in the shelter... they deserve a better life. if i was in charge of every shelter of the USA, i wouldnt make these cute dogs live in such a jail. they deserve better. the previous commercial here echo isnt adopted almost made me cry. i cry when i find a helpless cute slobbery dog smiling to me "take me home" I would. Because of ads like this, i now have 11 dogs and 2 cats, 6 of the dogs are rescued. I love each one of them as I love my pure breeds. That's six more extra servings of love I get everyday :)

I just hope that more and more people take care of their pets and start adopting abandoned animals. If there's one thing I learned from my pets is that you can never get enough loving.

@Aussiegirl265 this dog thing happened by accident not by choice. It started out with 1 rescue dog then another and another. I didn't get them from shelters either, they were stray dogs who camped outside my house or my place of work (w/c is near my house). First i was giving them only food and water so they didn't have to scavenge. Soon they were following me everywhere including my home. Seeing that they were very social and friendly, I decided to let them in. So that's how it got started.

I got Toby out of s shelter he look so sad and a lady said he was there for 3 days and wanted out. After all the paper work was done and they gave him to me he was let's go andy place is better that here and he jumped right in my truck. He is very protective of his new home great watch dog.

Who ever adopted Echo is the luckiest person in the world! When you watch the first one of Echo (before she was adopted), when she gave the two men that smile.... I sware I have to watch this everyday..... When I grow-up (im not alowed to have a dog... but when im on my own!) I WILL adopt a dog... and I want it to be just like Echo!

@SarahFabulousx Not necessarily. Did you ever consider that the previous owners might have been unable to afford Echo or give him the proper care? Maybe they lived in an apartment, where a dog of that size wouldn't have the room to run? Sure there are cruel owners out there, but there is no proof that Echo was ever handled by them. It's so easy to demonize someone when you don't know all the circumstances, but don't assume that every dog who winds up in a shelter was put there out of cruelty.

what is sad is that you don't know what a big difference this campaign is making. There has been such a huge possitive impact and the rescue community is thrilled and proud. There are so many genuine real people behind this campaign, there are so many dogs who have benefited because of it. I'm blessed to know many of the rescue community and I see how hard they have worked and I see the good that has come from this campaign.

I criticize that Pedigree on the one hand supports the rescuing of dogs, on the other hand belongs to a group which finances cruel animal experiments.

we have a dog that looks just like echo, only his fur is black, and when the first commercial came out, we just couldn't understand why the people passed him up when he was smiling at them. He was so sweet. When this commercial came out, the first time my mom saw it, I was at work. She called me crying to tell me that echo had been adopted. I hope you love your new family Echo!
