Those all-metal tracks on that M4...are they the tracks they made for the Soviet Lend-Lease Shermans?

A Hellcat is not a main battle tank, it was a tank destroyer. It had an open top and much lighter armor than a Sherman. It's high speed and fast traverse were its main advantages. It was also very easy to maintain in the field.

it was basically just like the sherman except its speed, it was the fatstest tank of the war. ive heard its still the fastest tank even today

bassicly your right. it can hit speed at 80KMH and it was an all overall tank. even though, it isent that well known.

False the Hellcat was a tottaly different vehicle with a torsion bar suspension. IT mounted the &^mm HV At gun. You are confusing it with the M10 and M-36 Tand destroyers on the M-4 chassis and suspension.
