Liam Clancy RIP. Liam the last of this great quartet died this w/e. Laid to rest 2moro Monday 7 December.

Paddy's grave at Faugheen,outside Carrick on Suir Co Tipp, has the chorus of this tune as his epitaph:-

"lay me down in my native peat,

and the table a jug of punch..."
