  • @junior70655 Elizabeth Berridge

  • @junior70655 What does the music transition to at 5:48 - 6:07? It's different from the Serenade of 13 Winds...

  • @gilgamesh777amg That's the 7rd Movement of K.361.

  • @junior70655 Thanks! I'm grateful!!!

  • @gilgamesh777amg watch?v=OwVQyHB5NfI

    listen from 2:55

  • @junior70655 I think your link was cut off. What was that?

  • 5.48 - this boy in orange frock before Salieri step before him I think he was played young Salieri a bit earlier. I think its the same actor, very similar face. What do you think?

  • wow, Mozart (at least in the movie) showed his ass the the Emperor of Austria, awsome

  • @bh5496 Not emperor just a bishop of Salzburg - his employer :)

  • @NaunachteTauri yeah i came to realize that he probably was just a pries/ bishop or somethin as the scene went on. regardless, he showed an importan person his rear end and it's still quite a feat. XD

  • Mozart, gênio da humanidade. Humano.

    Quem foi Salieri?

  • such a perfect place to end part two, my god

  • Koreanmale12 this came out in 1982

  • It seems that in the 1700's, women kept their legs hidden under their long dresses and left their boobs hanging out.

  • What is the music called, that starts at 7:52

  • @Ragtime95 Its called Serenade No.10 in B-flat major, Gran Partita: Adagio

  • Salieri at 4:40 "Moron..."

  • its amazing what music can do,

in my humble opinion this is one of the best movies ever

thankfully we have good movies like this one

  • when mozart's music stops, i feel terribly...

  • what is interesting hier is the word "creature" in this context

  • From what I've heard about Mozart, this movie potrays him perfectly.

  • I'm kind of disappointed in the way they portray Mozart, and I really hope he didn't have a personality like this in real.

  • @Shiyuru999 I think it's always good to read up on actual accounts on someone and their own writing before you make judgements on them based on a movie.

  • @Shiyuru999 The movie I would say is probably about 60%-70% accurate in its depiction of Mozart. Sir Peter Shaffer said of his play/screenplay: "[It is] fantasia based on fact. It is NOT a screen biography of Mozart, and was never intended to be." Visit my blog to learn more! The link is on my channel.

  • @Shiyuru999 actually this pretty much sums up Mozart, except in real life he loved pleasing people. But since he never had a real childhood, he was very immature all his life

  • @MarilynMacron I have met a lot of men like that. In fact men generally that I have known are really not very mature. Hmm I must be mixing with the wrong men? I really am sorry if I am being rude in your eyes, I don't mean to be. I really mean that comment!

  • What's the name of the song at 05:42? I've played it before, years ago, and now I can't remember what it's called.

  • never seen movie like this, fantastic. This movie can expand the ears of non classical listeners to at least partially understand what truly classical music can portray human feelings in true musical way.

I can't believe that this movie came out in 2007?? omg... jeez fantastic for classical listener + instrument players like me.

  • @KoreanMale12 No no, it came out in 1984. Tom Hulce portrays Mozart.

  • Comment removed

  • whats the name of the song at 7:49?

  • @LBPSFriend Serenade in Bb K361-370a [Gran Partita] - Adagio, an amazing piece

  • Saxzw Ha ha ha ha ha !

  • Most of the time, talented people are completely insane. :P

Which makes them even more amazing. xD

After this movie, I've been obsessed with Mozart. Haha. I've become such a History freak because of him, too. xP

    Random. Lol.

But yeah. I've also learned to appreciate classical music much more because of all this obsession with Mozart/other artists from that time. (16/1700's.)

  • 7:54-9:00

    Amazing words Sallieri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 8:16 What song is that?

  • i can't stand mozart's american accent =.=.....

  • 7:43 KISS MY ASS HAHAA, HAHA SALIERI'S ORGASMIC EXPRESION CUT BY MOZART´S ESCAPE

  • 7:43 KISS MY ASS HAHAA

  • rape

  • At this age of 13 I am obsessed with movie!

  • @counterstrifekid want a medal?

  • @TheGodBacchus

Congratulations your a troll here is you award you win a all expense paid trip to fuck yourself!!

  • @thehumanbirdie is that a no?

  • i remember as a child being absolutely frightened of the old crusty salieri and of the very darkest scenes at the end of the movie, swearing to never watch it again as long as i live. though i must say that constanze's breasts were something i always remembered that i DID like. :D

i am 30 now and am obsessed with this movie and mozart's work having just recently watched this film on AMC during oscar week.

  • @GPsgurl80 - i am 33 and watched this movie when it came out, it is a family favorite. That is, the movie on VHS tape. Only a few days ago did i watch the netflix version. The counter ran to 3 hours, far longer than i remembered. Then all these extra scenes, and

and like you say about constanze's breasts, i nearly fell out of my chair when she let them completely free...i had no idea, none, I had no idea there was a seduction storyline, that there were tits in Amadeus,!

  • Sallieri reminds me of Squidward.

  • @Superwolf1337 That is an absolutely brilliant comparison. With his laugh, Mozart could easily be Spongebob as well. :D

  • @emothebandgeek That is a brilliant comparison as well.

  • @Superwolf1337 Best statement EVER...

  • @Superwolf1337 i love squidward (:

  • That... gliggling dirty minded creature I've just seen crawling on the floor...

  • Mozart wife's breasts are magnificent..

  • @wisesatyr72 In the uncut version u get to see them :3

  • Even though she cant breath with those fucken corsets they used to wear back then but still very beautiful indeed man! ;)

  • @wisesatyr72 it's her dress , not her breasts . have respect for the females .

  • @Lindseylovesearth Just complimenting on her breasts . not degaradiing females in anyway. She is well endowed in real life Ive seen other movies thats shes in.. the corset just makes it even larger. Dont be so uptight and hard to get. Come on its human nature. We have to procreate to sustain the human race since everyone is turning gay and all females have becoming highly selective in choosing a partner..

  • @wisesatyr72 i'm not hard to get or uptight . complimenting her breast is degrading , you shouldn't be staring at her like that . and we become highly selective because of guys like you . cause there is no guys who aren't staring at our chests .

  • @Lindseylovesearth Why put them on display if you don't want passerbys to look?

  • @2kol4scool good point, you're right lmao, but it doesn't make it right to disrespect yk?

  • @Lindseylovesearth I think her boobs are sexy as hell - and I have respect for females. XD

  • Apprently someone in a letter described Mozart's laugh as 'an infectious, giddy laugh' and that it sounded like 'metal scraping on glass', but I guess noone really knows what it was like!

  • @indyracingnut: elizabeth berridge does have some nice cleavage in this film but in reality she more than likely had a very supportive corset. check out her first film Funhouse, you can see her full frontal and they aren't all that great. at least they stood up very well in this film. :D

  • does anyone know what the music is in the background? 0:00 to 1:00 or so

  • @ohlittlefireofmine25 Bubak and Hungaricus

  • whats the name of the first song?, please someone tell me, its really funny :)

  • God she had the most amazing cleavage in this movie...

  • @indyracingnut hahaha i thought i was the only one who thought that

  • the way he described the first note he saw for Mozart, is so touching.

  • Was Mozart really like that?o_O

  • @MsAnnoyingComment Maybe not THAT bad, but close! (Remember, it's Salieri's story, he might tweak it a bit! :P)

  • @MsAnnoyingComment of course no one knows if he had the high pitched laugh.. but it is almost certain that he was rude, arrogant, vulgar and imature..... i mean he had every right to be... on one could match his work....people even thought he was autistic.. so he was very childlike.......

  • probably a very commen question, but still, what is the name of the piece his is conducting here?

  • @pouffsie serenade for winds, 3rd movement.

  • @devilxhlywood thank you:)

  • Mozart was the most epic guy ever

  • @freakgirl1998 - I wonder. The wigs are meant to be wigs - I don't think there was any pretense that they were natural hair? Maybe that is the difference?

  • 6:18 how precious the little girls are ^^

  • It's QUASIMODO! :D

  • I love the camera zoom on Sallieri, when it dawns on him that the imbecile he has witnessed on the floor is in fact... Mozart.

  • "This peice had to be an accident, it had to be... it better be..."

  • BEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN IN ALL MY 13 YEARS ON EARTH

  • @tuisa13 - when I was about your age, our music teacher sent us home with a single movie ticket to see this. My Mom had to buy her own - :-) I feel fortunate to have seen this at the theater when it came out. My Dad took me to see Blade Runner. There was a small window in the early 80's where they made great films!

  • Mozart brings out the longing in all of our hearts. Simply the best!

  • hahaha what a bad first impression!!! XD

  • Salieri sounds like he's describing the most delicious candy in the world.

  • 5:01 - 5:10 Man, Mozart can haul ass!

  • hahaha shitwit

  • You know its a good movie, when it has people (the comments below prove this) falling in love with a composer whos been dead for more than 100 years. Best. Movie. Ever.

  • This movie made me fall in love with motzart

He's completely mad but I love him!!!

  • FUCK I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT HE SEEMS SO HOT TO ME! LIKE THE WAY HE ACTS! DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! =D

  • I wished men still dressed the way they did in the 18th Century...I think they looked so elegant!

  • Oh dang! Mozart is a pervert!!! O_o

  • Opening the door so his master can hear the Maestro's adoring fans applauding and so he can give THE MOST EPIC "EFF YOU!" BOW EVER!

    XD

  • Fuck Mozart's legs are sexy. *drooooooooool* They turn me on....

  • with a wife like that, I never will write music...

    Mozart must be Gay.

  • @elunicomejor1 He probably was bisexual. I think he likes Salieri... But this Salieri is ugly... Just saying

  • The music he conducted @ 5:27 is called Serenade No. 10 in B flat major k361 "Gran Partita". It's the first and last parts of the serenade.

  • "That . . that giggling, dirty minded creature I'd just seen! Crawling on the floor!"

Ah, Salieri is amazing in this film -a s character at least, even if you think him historically inaccurate. Brilliant acting!

  • Why is it (and I'm not slamming movies based in this time frame) but why is it when movies take place in this time frame, everyone except the main character has an English or French accent??

  • @girl123interrupted i always thought it was that way with period films (especially the ones that do well in the U.S) because it is the closest accent to our own , but is still considered of the "old world languages"

  • @girl123interrupted i personally think it has a little to do with the fact that both countries are allies of the U.S. and therefore not offensive to the American audience of these films. Then again it could be because the British accent or form of English is the closest of the "old world languages" to American English so there is less confusion about what the actors are saying and you still get the "once upon a time far far away" sense from the movie.

  • too...many.....

    WIGS

  • what was the name of the song he was conducting in this scene?

    Does anyone know?

    :)

  • Apparently there were lots of lice problems back in the day because people wore those wigs all the time and never (or rarely) washed their hair!

  • !sdrawkcab gniklat evol I

  • Mozart's wife is portrayed as a Valley Girl.

  • god those breasts are amazing ;)

  • I wish people still dressed like this sometimes...

  • What's the name of the music at 5:27?

  • Wow ignorant people that cant appreciate this movie If its homework why dont you just fail the class hahahaha

  • 2:05-2:06 holy fuck she has ginormous boobs!!

  • With towers gates and bars; the land is still ours.

  • My favorite part 4:15 - 4:30

  • In addition to being a genius, Mozart was a comedian, too...

  • I think I love Mozart...

  • Damn it salieri! You stole a chocolate and look what happened to you! "followed God's word... YOU FORGOT DO NOT STEAL!!! You can only blame yourself =P

  • @DeathlyDavid Chocolate? Or was that a grape in a pineapple sculpture?

  • @StJouish They looked like a bunch of chocolates in the shape of a pineapple to me =P

  • @DeathlyDavid I watched whole movie on Instant Netflix last night. In big screen, yup one of the basic food groups: chocolate. Refreshing to reach agreement with someone on YouTube commentary page. Whole movie and music fabulous. Both main characters actors, F. Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce good.

  • @StJouish Yes the movie was great! Glad it won a lot of awards. Very Deep. And sometimes HILARIOUS. Mozart laugh just kills me XD

  • @DeathlyDavid Imaginative use of historical personalities to weave a spooky tale. Yes, Tom Hulce's giggle really inspired. I am going to check out some other movies by directed by Milos Forman. Meanwhile, have gone on a YouTube Mozart bender. Why did I ever spend time on Beethoven, when there was Mozart? : - )

  • @DeathlyDavid Help...I'm very, very old. What does XD mean? Is it a little picture like : - D ?

  • @StJouish It means your eyes are squinted because your laughing so hard. X see? And D is the mouth. Basically :- D but this one XD means your laughing.

  • @DeathlyDavid Thanks. I never would have figured that out. On my birthday, I took my son (31) and fiancée to St. Louis symphony to see Carmina Burana. We were transported to a different planet. Incredible choral work, pretty much in its own genre. Carl Orff, a semi_nazi, but Carmina Buran irresisitble. See on YouTube "Carmina Burana UC Davis" the whole 90 minute performance. The keyboard guy form the Doors, Ray Manzara (sp?)— did a rock version, but probably not available on YouTube.

  • Mozart: Wind Serenade No. 10 'Gran Partita', movement 3 - Adagio

  • what are the titel of this song in this part??? I want know it, please!

  • ACDC

  • guys I know this is random but this is what I heard:

"that! was mozart! that! that GIGGITY dirty minded creature I've just seen, crawling on the floor!"

  • People who dislike this movie should Tihs ym tae.

  • @saxzw what does " tihs ym tae" mean???

  • @tuisa13 lol it's what mozart said in this part of the movie. tihs ym tae = eat my sh*t (backwards)

  • eat my shat

  • @saxzw haha....it took me a minute to get this....but i am very slow!!!! but thumbs up!

  • @saxzw hahaha

  • The best description of music ever written :)

  • Name of song starting @5:42

  • BOOBIES!!!!!

  • Nice chick.!

  • @Harleybutz do u have any respect?

  • @Lindseylovesearth apparently for boobs. (lol)

  • @TheBlacks198 lmao

  • My favorite scene in the film, the titty scene. XD It would be awesome if I could know if Mozart really acted like this in real life, but I suspect that it`s mostly exaggeration.

  • @shrikechan, actually, I believe this to be a good rendition of his life. You have to remember that he didn't have a childhood because of being a musical prodigy, so his partying came in his later years, this also fed into the reason he became an alcoholic. One question, who's tits is he sucking anyway, 'tis a great scene, eh?

  • @shrikechan > You are right, Mozard didn't act like that in real life:)

E.g. he did stay away from women until he got married, etc... .

The character played by Tom Hulce here has hardly anything to do with the real Mozart. But then again, this giggling, girl-chasing clown shown here works PERFECTLY for the movie, and really fits in:)

  • @DarthHein Unfortunately, he had been plagued by many rumors. In fact, there was someone Beethoven refused to perform with because she had been rumored to be a mistress of Mozart's.(Whatta prude. Also, not true.)

  • @DarthHein - I hate to use Wikipedia ... but ...

"... He had a fondness for scatological humor, which is preserved in his surviving letters, notably those written to his cousin Maria Anna Thekla Mozart around 1777–1778, but also in his correspondence with his sister and parents[73] (for an example, see Bölzlschiessen). Mozart even wrote scatological music, a series of canons (Leck mich im Arsch, Difficile lectu, Bona nox) that he sang with his friends.
