  • the music sounds like its f****d up. was that one the reasons it was decommissioned two months later

  • No...the main reason it was decomissioned is because LF systems are required to produce an audible tone when warnings are issued and the 3000 was incapable of doing so.

  • oh ok so was the music supposed to sound like this or was it your recorder?

  • i didn't record the video, it was given to me by someone else...but yes, if something sounds wrong with the music it was probably the recorder...this video came from a VHS tape, which you have to remember is not exactly high quality...

  • A rare video of the WS3000 in the 21st century. It even still has the travel cities forecast! I'm not surprised that it was decomissioned right after this.

  • I miss the 3000!

  • I miss this one too! This is the one I grew up on! It would be nice if someone made an emulator of this one. Brings back old weather memories!

  • LOL!!!

The Satellite LF in the end!!

  • Thats so cool. There where 2 heck of a storms here in So Cal that October. One of them brought like 4 inches of rain and max winds of 75 MPH that night. I remember going to school in the morning and seeing some small street flooding and all sorts of tree limbs and stuff in the roads.

  • what song is this?

  • That's "In A Pickle" by Barry Hartglass.

  • What weatherstar did it changed to

  • Neat. I haven't seen this 3000 video before!
