how did u make a sump? can u teach me how to make a sump thanks? what kind of over flow box u have? whart kind of skimmer u using? are u using live rocks as a filter too in your sump? does live rocks helps to remove algae in the tank? what kind of equipment u have plus return pump?
Hi! i don't use/have a sump. I just filter the water with my MCE 600 hang on skimmer and from time to time with activated carbon (to remove metabolic wastes etc.) inside the MCE 600 Media Box.
My tank contains about 400 pounds of live rock.
Due to the high amount of algae-eating fish i have no problems with algae.
The only high amount of algae are coralline algae =)
The other kinds of algae are continually eaten by the surgeonfishes etc.
Bisschen viele Fische ... naja aber wenigsten schönes großes Becken.

Nun kann ich den Besatz an Korallen wieder hochfahren und dementsprechend auch die Beleuchtung bzw. Beleuchtungszeit HQI.
