actually it DOES mean that opponent can't attack, opp can just skip the Battle Phase. check Amazoness Archers for an example of effect where your opponent MUST attack.

a) You are wrong, read Marauding Captain, it has very similar text. b) You misunderstand my point (well a part of it) I didn't mean that the opponent must attack, I meant that if they attack, they have to attack Miracle Flipper first, as it is the only legal target.

o...k, he didn't attack with Ultimate Anicent Gear Golemn becuase why? I really don't think Miracle Flipper does what you think it does. The line "Your opponent cannot select another face-up monster as an attack target." Doesn't mean the opponent cannot attack, it means that he MUST attack Miracle FIRST. It has an effect that activates when its destroyed by battle for crying out loud.
