@noogies I never knew grunge, are whatever when it was happening, I was 20 and glad it did. Fuck hairspray music... This and grunge to me was geting back to the basics of RAW ROCK!!!

@rizistiz - Sonic Youth really shouldn't be classified as 'grunge', but I understand the sentiment. By this point, they had been experimenting with noise for a number of years. The 'grunge' bands were relatively new and had a 'cleaner' sound.

This was the very first video/song that got me into Sonic Youth. I was never into them before even though I seen most of their videos growing up as a teen. They were definitely over my head at the time. When I first saw this video, which was the first time I heard this song also, I immediately bought Dirty. Now I have all their CDs!!
