Really cool what you are doing here. Seems like you have a love for the heavens. Nice work. My work revolves around earth-based shuttle missions etc animated in a 2.5d environment, but this has a really nice feel. I wonder if it's possible to realize, to a small degree, the ring particles without using 3d. I guess since you are working from actual photographic archives, you want to keep it as accurate as possible.

@Graphicstodiefor - thanks for the kind words. Ring particles is something I would like to do but still sorting through Cassini data to see if it's possible at iMAX resolutions. There are a few photographs that show particles but no mosaics or likely candidates for them, but I may not have found the right data yet.
