i was at this show & it was fucking amazing..the female harp player killed it, and the young kat in the background is Chuck's son. The bartenders at Blueberry Hill know what they're doin too.
Sorry, but as they once said in the movie "Great Balls of Fire", Jerry Lee Lewis can blow Chuck Berry off the stage any day. It was true back in the 50's & 60's, and it's still true today. I saw a rock & roll revival show about 10 years ago with Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee, and Little Richard. Chuck Berry was the one who closed the show and was given the most time, but his performance couldn't touch either of the other 2 acts. He even wasted about 10 minutes walking around on stage tuning his guitar.
@xdipndotx It was quite a show in general but Chuck Berry finishing off the concert really took the steam out of the things. Jerry Lee Lewis really rocked the house with "Great Balls of Fire", "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", etc. Then Little Richard sounded great doing many of his hits! Chuck Berry came on last lookin like he was drunk, kept forgetting what song he was singing, and then wandered off stage at the end without even saying thank you or goodnight. Never even came out for an encore.
