i love japanese as a whole but i grew up with the german one and theres so much more emotion in that one that i kinda miss in this scars monotone-like-singing. even when he loses his cool in 2:10 he sounds kinda.. bored. or restraint. like he isnt allowed to shout. but especially in the beginning. (on a happier note: the Hyenas actually sound really great here! :D)

But ive been taking Japanese for 4 years now,and i found out that lots (not all) are taking and learning it because of all the anime and stuff.

But I know that others want to learn just because. :)

I took it cause I love the language and the culture is pretty interesting. I have taken French, Italian and Spanish along with Japanese. I just love languages and other cultures overall.

@JiraiyaGamagaeru it might be superficial but it still serves a purpose. Some great songs, video games, literature or movies never get translated into English. You can also find words that offer new ideas and perspectives that have no translation in other languages so it's just good to learn.

@TheChoujinVirus "sama" is used to refer to someone who is alot higher of stature to you much like how a commoner would call the emperor or samurai, or maybe a maid to his/her employer, ore mean I first person, so it's pretty much saying oh godly me or something which english doesnt have :P

I'm a big fan of the Japanese entertainment industry ^o^ but I'm also a big supporter of original language for all movies, cartoons comics etc.

I like the English version better mostly because you can usually hear when a song i written for a specific language which of course is also the case for Disney music ^-^ most Japanese songs from anime also sound horrible when translated because it was made for the Japanese language...

Love it! He doesn't quite have Jeremy Irons' silky speaking voice (let's not lie, Jeremy doesn't really sing in this, just kind of rhythmically talks and occasionally shifts the pitch a bit), but he did a great job with Scar! Also: Shut up Brazilians, both the original English version and this Japanese one are awesome. :P
