  • Couple more questions, I'm mounting the 1.25 on a GP Reactor .61 Bipe so if I use the same rig as yours, it should work. What size smoke tank are you using? 1-2 oz.? Or larger? (Found a Pitts smoke muffler from Chief Aircraft.)

  • @bonsairick ,

G'day. .... I'm actually using an 8oz tank, which gets between 5 and 6 min of smoke (it sits side by side with the 11oz fuel tank and only just in front of CoG - obviously depends on how fast you set the pump. I have been debating whether I could actually 'thin' the SuperDri with Kerosene (or like). This would mean less would be needed for smoke vaporisation. The Slimline are nice (mine is side mount so not a smoke muffler). Good luck... be sure to post a video :)

  • How are you generating that much smoke on a Saito 125? What system are you using? Thanks.

  • @bonsairick .

Exhaust is Slimline Pitts muffler with copper tube wrapped around for pre-heating. (they don't make smoke muffler for side mount)

A Sullivan smoke pump mixed to the throttle and Super-Dri smoke Oil.

The pre-heating is the key to it - I had even got smoke from glycerine based smoke fluids with this setup , but Super-Dri is better.

    Good luck :)

  • Thanks heaps.....

I do love G.M.A.C..... but our strip can be a little un-flattering at times

  • Great Video and flying. The landing was fantastic too untill the old greesborough rabbit patch bounced you about!
