  • I was just cringing waiting for the blood to flow all over that white wool. I could never dare to do this.

  • Very nice tutorial! I usually have to order my supplies online. New Mexico doesn't have any good stores.. Odds and end at hobby lobby. Living felt has nice tutorials also and they are lovely to deal with .. Thanks for your vids.. I love them!

  • Is there a way to needle felt hair onto a fabric doll, such as a rag doll?

  • where can I find that wool thing, thank you

  • thanks! now i go buy some!

  • thank you for this video, it has inspired me and I bought my needles and foam boards today :)

  • hi may i ask what is that yellow and green thing that you use to punch the felt down?--i(i don't know anything abour felt making at all) It a great skill to use for my project ! and thx for the tutorial

  • The yellow & green thing is called a needle felting tool. It contains 5 felting needles that, as you punch, compress and compact the wool fibers so they become entangled. This technique (when felting is achieved without soap & water) is called dry felting or "needle felting." I suggest you watch my other YouTube video about needle felting called "Needle Felting Basics: Tools and Supplies."

  • o wow great! i was told that i need to wet it and soap it to join them but it always go out of place and thx this is a much better way to do it !

  • I bought my needles from American Felt and craft I think they were size 38, what other sizes would you recommend? What are the diffrences in the brands if any?

  • Size 38 is a general purpose size. Remember that the higher the gauge number, the smaller the diameter of the needle. Thinner needles poke less visible holes, so the higher gauge needles are great for finishing work. But 36 or 38 gauge work fine for most projects. I like Colonial needles best, especially the Blue Point because they have more barbs and are stronger than many brands.

  • very helpful :) thanks for the tutorial

  • This was really helpful. I've never tried needle felting but it seems like a technique that would be very useful, so I'll have to give it a go soon.

    Thanks for posting your tutorial.
