Even then, leg hair on swimmers slows them down so minimally that the difference is unable to be properly gauged (too small of a change to measure) they really shave for the placebo effect. If it has no real effect underwater, then it has less of an effect out of it. Do you know why noone was up in arms about Tanas dreads or Howletts fro? because its fucking stupid to think it slows them down at all.
The selectors like Hore granted but Mealamu was incredible last season and has carried that on as the best Blues player this year behind Kaino. DeMalmance is strong running as always but his throwing is horribly shit, theres no way he comes close to starting. As for Fruen in for the combination, i really doubt that as Conrad has been the constant of the All Blacks backline for many seasons. He has an existing combo with Carter which has been proven to work. I doubt Fruean will make the 30 squad
@SammyKTA Thompson has shown some good form but hes playing a different style of game. Kaino has been a beast in the cleanout, fringe ruck defense and putting momentum on static ball. That has been invaluable for the All Blacks, Thompsons doing well in pilfers and open play running but Kainos skills are invaluable. Hes a deadset certainty. Mackintosh plays loosehead, there really hasnt been any other tight head who has come close to Franks in any area.
@SammyKTA I dont agree.. Kaino has 6 locked up, Read has the 8 jersey, Mealamu at 2, Owen Franks at 3, Thorn at 5, and Conrad Smith at 13 are all core players. I can't see anyone coming near taking their positions.
There can be an arguement made for Fruean over Smith, but Smith has been incredible on defense for the canes, where as Fruens has been a liability at times. Also, Smiths attack has been stifled at the canes by the shitty pack and poor halves. The AB selectors will recognise this.

Great to see some of JK's tries. The NZ rugby public treated him like shit for virtually his entire first-class career, yet look at the things he did for our team. @GuerillaGanja Thats stupid. There is far more resistance under water than in the air. Even then, leg hair on swimmers slows them down so minimally that the difference is unable to be properly gauged (too small of a change to measure) they really shave for the placebo effect. If it has no real effect underwater, then it has less of an effect out of it. Do you know why noone was up in arms about Tanas dreads or Howletts fro? because its fucking stupid to think it slows them down at all.

The selectors like Hore granted but Mealamu was incredible last season and has carried that on as the best Blues player this year behind Kaino. DeMalmance is strong running as always but his throwing is horribly shit, theres no way he comes close to starting. As for Fruen in for the combination, i really doubt that as Conrad has been the constant of the All Blacks backline for many seasons. He has an existing combo with Carter which has been proven to work. I doubt Fruean will make the 30 squad

@SammyKTA Thompson has shown some good form but hes playing a different style of game. Kaino has been a beast in the cleanout, fringe ruck defense and putting momentum on static ball. That has been invaluable for the All Blacks, Thompsons doing well in pilfers and open play running but Kainos skills are invaluable. Hes a deadset certainty. Mackintosh plays loosehead, there really hasnt been any other tight head who has come close to Franks in any area.

@SammyKTA I dont agree.. Kaino has 6 locked up, Read has the 8 jersey, Mealamu at 2, Owen Franks at 3, Thorn at 5, and Conrad Smith at 13 are all core players. I can't see anyone coming near taking their positions.
There can be an arguement made for Fruean over Smith, but Smith has been incredible on defense for the canes, where as Fruens has been a liability at times. Also, Smiths attack has been stifled at the canes by the shitty pack and poor halves. The AB selectors will recognise this.

Some schools hand out scholarships to people from the pacific but they have nothing to do with the all blacks. Do you really believe we have beaten you every game we have ever played because of 1 or 2 people that came to our country as children?

Great to see some of JK's tries. The NZ rugby public treated him like shit for virtually his entire first-class career, yet look at the things he did for our team. I'm from the Waikato, so I'm absolutely NOT an Auckland fan, but he was a game-changer and ahead of his time. I think any All Black who can not only score some of the greatest tries ever seen, but can also go on TV to talk about something as serious and misunderstood as mental illness, deserves better than we've ever given him.
