I don't get why you'd want a console version though (for any game). The PC is the only version including the mission editor, and hundreds of thousands of addons.

Because the console can be fun and more relaxing than using a keyboard. I'm getting it for both though, and thank god it supports the 360 controller.

After seeing ArmA 1 I doubt I'd enjoy the keyboard much.

It's not a fact that it's going to be 6-24 months, could be just 4-6 months, but it took 3-4 years for the console version of the first Operation Flashpoint to come out.

I'm not really fond of those scattered smoke puffs (behind the damaged c130). The smoke should be denser (but more transparent).

ArmA2 is a must have game ! Nothing compares.

I can confirm that the settings were low. I think he also said that he could run the game fine with medium-high settings. Seems like it's better optimized, because one of his biggest impressions were that it looked better than Arma without demanding more of the system.

Bert was streaming with low/medium settings, but earlier said he could run the game smoothly with medium to high.

His system was: C2D @2.2GHz, 2GB RAM, HD4850
