I personally like the dog idea, however I think Lionhead studios have made an error by making a large amount of gameplay revolve around it, I think its likely many players will not be interested in the dog and will be generally irritated by it, the dog should at least be optional

i have a love/hate relationship with the dog in this game, on one hand its cute and makes things more intresting... but without the mini map im going to curse at that dog for leading me into a dungeon i didn't want to be in for another year or so lol i just want the option for a mini map :(

yeah i know what you mean... if you abandon the dog somewhere you're screwed if you dont know the lay of the land... if there's at least a map that pops up when you arent with the dog that would be good....

hmmm...if u become evil and grow horns like in the first 2 fables-the dog should transform a little bit though and become more evil looking
