saw this band a skeggie rock and blues fest ,they are still a great band ,and touring all over the world.Saw the original line about 15yrs ago and they were real bad the new stuff is better
This is brilliant, they ruled back them and I had the pleasure of seeing them a few times. I wish this line up would re-form. he new line up isn't anywhere near as good as this.
all i can tell you is that if you see them now you wouldnt recognize them, this is a band from the seventies.and they are absolutely waisted .but this song is inmortal
Hey folkbox - I was at that gig in 78 - what a night!!
Main memories are squeeze doing the Obscene Telephone Call, Radio Starrs doing 'There are no Russians in Russia' and the Hot Roads were fabulous. Happy days!!
Brill!!! 30 years on Barrie still doesn't look any older apart from bigger bags under his eyes! Someone should load the full version of this from The Old Grey Whistle Test.
Great! Always heard about Eddie and the Hotrods because of my affinity for THE DAMNED. Finally got to see them in Newcastle, with the Damned, a couple years ago, and they were fantastic. Mind-blowing bill. I always make sure I can see a great show when I visit the UK, and this was one of the best! They deserve their good rep.
Saw them do this live in 1978. Supported by The Radio Stars (who?!?) and bottom of the bill Squeeze where Jools Holland made an unforgetable impression:-)

`They seemed to be everywhere in the mid '70s. We thought of them as a sort of happy-shopper Dr. Feel good.
