Will shaving my head make my hair grow back thicker?

Did she say yes or no? Please explain someone. She said that it stimulates the follikle, so that means that it will give me thicker hair?

Then she says that it only feels like it got thicker. An answer please!

Ok well from my personal experience i used to have very thin long hair and never used to get short haircuts, until recently in the past few years i started cutting it really short, and in fact shaving it completely for summer. Now i have really rough, sort of like pubic hair on my head. Its really thick and curly

Happened to mine too! :c Well, kind of. It used to be long and straight, but when it grew back after chopping it to my shoulders, it started growing really curly/wavy and messy. It's been three years since then and still hasn't grown back to that length. Maybe it's just a cause of my crappy pampering. My hair managed to sustain itself before because it was raised healthy, but after I cut it it was all up to me to KEEP it healthy and I... failed. Maybe I'll try another experiment.

that is wrong, your hair is not growing thicker after shaving. It just appears thicker. For details ask a dermatologist.

It is really weird coz when i was a little my dad(black) and mom(white) decided to shave me ..before shaving my hair was curly and after the shaving it didnt grow a long time my mom was scared tht hair would not grow back at all and after it finally started growing back mom realized tht my hair somehow it changed structure (its almost pin straight,sometimes it has a bit of wavy but its dont even close to relaxed african american hair its just becomed too soft and heavy but still thin&oily
