Ugh, fuckers. Have you guys even listened to the actual lyrics? The whole song can be compared to the force (immortality - living on with the force after death) and dark side vs light side. No, the song isn't very starwars'ish compared to the actual type of music used in the Star Wars films, but the lyrics still go well with Star Wars.
You think my editing is bad this video is nothing special just a bunch of scenes thrown together overlaid with a song that does not even match the video and it is very poor quality due to your editing, but im the one who cant edit
Haha, thanks. there won't be a next time though, this was just something when I was in highschool. It has the tracking numbers because it had only just come out in theatres. I used the best I could find :S
I enjoyed it for the most part. However as Theycallhimturpin said remove the time of the dvd parts from it next time on a video. Frankly it's one of the few good Star Wars tributes I've found. 5/5
You definitely got some of the most action-packed moments. And, what this is lacking is called deinterlacing. Also, those numbers at the top say something about where you got the footage. Might not want to use such footage in any future videos.
Thanks for all the comments. SlipKnotFreak and Bowali, what didn't you like about this video? All constructive criticism is appreciated. (and Ep3 stuff is at the end... I didn't get much of it because the capture device on my computer didn't like the dvd I was using and would constantly freeze... so I only got a clip of Grievous dying and Anakin and Obi fighting.
it's not Youtube's fault, it's my fault... when I told the editing program to make the video, I only had two settings: good (5 GB for a 4 minute video!) or horribly, horribly bad (3 Megs). I'm sure I could have found another setting, but I was rushed for time, and by the time I had realized I could have found different settings for making it, the teacher had already deleted the entire project from the computer.
Nice work! I completely understand about the quality loss... but hey, we get the idea. I'm sure you can make some adjustments and fix it up... just like I'd have to do with my Balance of Power video...
The so-called infringement was only for videos using copyrighted footage intermixed with their own footage or claiming to be their own. Lucasfilm reps made this clear in some article I saw a little bit ago. LFL has no issue with people celebrating SW and being artistic about it... so long as they aren't jack-arses... :)
ah, 240. We meet again.

Good stuff. Too bad You Tube has such low quality vids, ruins some of the special effects on the lightsabre fights.

Haha, this is weird. About a week ago I checked this and it had been taken off for copyright infringement... And now it's back.
