Pretty cool experiment on melting glass. I had a tiny, little version of this, when I forgot, that I left a paperclip in the microwave, when I heated some food. It left a bubble in the glass turntable. Now if I tried this same thing with a paperclip on a glass bottle. That would be worth a try.
