That's amazing. The story I heard was she recorded it, and, although it was released as a single, she never sang it again. Apparently it was too emotional for her. Well, like so many of these stories about her, it wasn't true. It's a strange choice for the show though, as I doubt it was her current single at that time.
These are marvellous videos Shoemaker and go a long way to making up for the idiot who spoiled the Petula Clark Blog, Driven By Emotion.
