  • Naaw Wotah Nice Nice,

  • Thanks meehall121 for sharing this lovely video with me. Obviously I would have loved to share this with my father, the lyrics certainly spoke to me. Blessings.

  • A great "big" fifties ballad that was issued in the U.S. and U.K. showing off a very powerful vocal by a "pre-Downtown" Pet Clark.

  • Makes a great father-daughter wedding dance~

  • I love her,

this and downtown are my favorite!!!

  • i used to hear my mum singing this song all the time... makes me cry now cos i think of my grandad! i love it

  • Even when she was just starting, Petula Clark just dazzled. Ah, what a lady, and such a performer!

  • She's a great lady of all times!!!! Nothing lesss...

  • Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pet Clark sang a lot of high school pop between 1957 and 1963 but my favorite was Cinderella Jones. Her American career as part of the British Invasion was well deserved

  • yeah :)

  • Superb • Many thanks

  • That's amazing. The story I heard was she recorded it, and, although it was released as a single, she never sang it again. Apparently it was too emotional for her. Well, like so many of these stories about her, it wasn't true. It's a strange choice for the show though, as I doubt it was her current single at that time.

These are marvellous videos Shoemaker and go a long way to making up for the idiot who spoiled the Petula Clark Blog, Driven By Emotion.
