and you're falling out of time every now and then

but other than that you've got the skills

and you know basically how to play the song

so just keep practicing and upstroking those palm mutes between the notes that you left out [ie - 1:40ish and 2:00ish]

as long as you have good audio equipment plugging into a "Guitar port" should have no effect...you need to work on those. I use this so called "Guitar Port" which im guessing you mean is a 1/2inch which wouldnt do ANYTHING to any harmonics natural or pinched cuz its JUST an Input..the only thing that will effect your harmonics is your levels such as gain and treble. Sorry to burst your bubble

I was under the impression that having a tube amp instead of a digital sound helped tremendously for harmonics. I guess i'll know once I receive mine. I've never played on one before, always been on a Line 6 Guitarport(are we really talking about the same thing here?) and the harmonics just don't sound that well, and it's not just me, my brother who's a very good guitar player doesn't do much better with my setup.

Well ok, but here is what I think and I play like this on 2:00 :

When you go "higher" in every note(the riffs before those 2 sweeps) you need to go back on "empty" 6th(B) string, in this vid you play just those "up" tones(those which go just upper before sweep) but listen to the song carefully, you need to "get back" on B after every "higher" tone and than the sweep part, and than again in that same riff before second harder sweep - you need to do the same thing... sorry for my bad english :D

ohhhhhhhh. yes you are absolutely right...I learned it this way because it was a lot easier to play without mistakes when I started learning it first. I wasn't very good and still am not a very good guitarist, that's why I learned it this way...but when I improved I forgot to re-learn it the correct way. Thanks for pointing this out.
