Most of the civilian deaths have been from sectarian violence which, SURPRISE, is down 70% because of the surge. Funny how you cry wolf about civilians yet reduce them to a $ figure. The recession has nothing to do with the war, by the way. It's a function of the natural business cycle. But good luck!
