EFT Clearing Blocks to Success

I want to try EFT but i have a question. I have seen some videos in which people say Negative Statements while tapping and they say that it will release their Negative Beliefs. In other videos some people use Positive Statements while tapping and they say it will increase Positivity (Confidence etc). If saying a Negative Statement while tapping releases (delete) the Negative Energy then won't saying Positive Statement release (delete) Positivity?

i'm trying to watch this video since over a year whenever i do my tapping sessions.so sad it still doesn't work.i also have this phenomenon of annoying sound.but i could swear that it worked ONCE when i first found it and a few days later,there was this sound surprisingly.therefore,only one star,but i'll be happy to give you a chance for five,if you would only repost this helpful video.thanks a lot and good luck!:-)

My best friend and her husband got laid off at the same time about 2 months ago and she sees this as an "opportunity" to educate herself( she starts school this month) and start a higher paying job.
