This is my teacher Padmabhushan Dr.Yamini , Ive had the privilege to learn this same for from her. She is fantastic teacher its a blessing to learn an art form from her.

I thought Yamini Krsnamurti is famous only fr her kuchipudi, but her bharatanatyam is also very very good! But of course, bharatanatyam purists will point at the lack of "aramandi" i her dancing, people who learn kuchipdui first or are more into kuchipudi dancing, never maintain aramandi properly, because it isnt present in that style, i guess...
Hi lovelylife19, as far as I know Yamini's first training was in bharatanatyam. She began studying in Kalakshetra but soon her father realized that kalak. style and training pattern was not for her. Yes, her araimandi is not that deep but who cares....her dance "flows"....and she's neat even in the maximum speed. But don't think that in Kuchipudi araimandi isn't there. It actually is! However that quicksilver style with all those jumps might not make it so clear.
Her Beuty. Her Dance and the energy. it is enormouse. It is her talent which captivates such audience. it is hipnotic. I give you my applause with humbleness.
