I use a 03 Chev Trailblazer LTZ gets about 18-22 mpg and a 6x10 trailer with ramp door i use a trailer cause it saves on vehicle int. wear from loading equipment in and out also you can load out quicker cause your not pressed for room. Also if no sub or lights are needed you can put everything in the rear cargo area of the SUV i also use the cargo area to haul my gig case in the cold months which in canada is 6 months hehehehe
