I thought it was a good interview actually. She revealed some interesting points about being an artiist and feeling you will always be on the outside. In her case music served as a backdoor. You wonder how many other "unheard of" Coco Rosies out there wating for their backdoor.
How to say this...I'm into the music, and (somewhat) into the antics, but I've been put off by some of the CR interviews i've seen--this one was no exception.
There is always some element of contemptousness and above-it-all that radiates from them.
I know her sister is bi because she revealed in an interview that she doesn't mind either genders. She said she preferred someone with "a bit of both"
I'm guessing her sister is the same.
Currently, I think they're (yes, I'm talking about them collectively) dating Antony Hegarty from Antony and the Johnsons, who considers himself/herself a her even though he/she is anatomically male.
Well maybe he sees them as men then? The concept of any kind of sexuallity is kind of thrown out the window when talking about transgender. How can someone only like men or women when people are in a constant state of flux between male and female.
interesting, she stated a similar thing about art as her sistar in another interview..about how mainstream is dissolving...as her sistar said bout music...goodbye mainstream!!
I LOVE HER SO FUCKING MUCH!!! To much probably..

I think the interviewer was asking questions for the sake of asking questions.

i am in love with their music but they always seem so aloof and bored during interviews.
it probably doesnt help that they often get complete braindeads for interviewers

"contemptousness and above-it-all that radiates from them."
Huh, funny - I like that about them. To me it is more of a disdain for media and an independence from cultural norms- both good stuff IMO.

erm if you know, is she a lesbian?
Is it okay to ask that without getting a million thumbs down, just because of pure curiosity?

hmm, but thats impossible, Antony is actually gay despite his andogynous transgender mental state.
hmm, he's my most favourite artist of all, it would strange to hear that of him.

well, Sierra and Bianca are pretty close with him/her and Sierra called her a woman and a 'she'. They probably know him/her better than us fans.
she said it here: watch?v=m7RIHlT2h1k

It scares me how much of a guy Bianca looks like. Without her voice, I'd totally think she was a guy. lol
