More 'shock' ads like this please. It just might manage to get through to the tiny minds of morons who still text and drive. Mobile phone use in any form should have the same penalties as drink driving- it seems it causes as many if not more accidents these days.

It's about time the RSA tackled tx driving. Until 2-3years ago every add was about drink driving which has been proven is less dangerous than than texting. The no 1 cause of road crashes is tailgating and it's never ever tackled by Gardai

Text driving = 2 penalty points and €80 fine

Drink Driving= Driving ban, Min of €500 fine,court app, solicitors fees, endorsement, possible job loss, huge hike in insurance. It's a criminal offense. Research has proven your more likely to crash while tx driving than drink driving.
