  • All i have to say boys and girls is choose your weapon... Your riding skills will have the last word... Stop all that my bike is better then yours crap... sound like a bunch of grammar school girls. Not even sponsored pro riders defend their manufacture like some of you morons on here...

  • Go to your address bar, after the word YOU and before the word TUBE, type in "win" then press enter

  • Best looking Gxxr 600 ever! I love the front, unlike that Fugly 2011. But i'm betting the 2011 Would run this one into the ground though lol! My younger brothers friend baught this year GXXR and the thing is fast for a 600! And HOW THE HELL does SUZUKI Make this bike so damn comfortable?!!!! It's the most comfy bike I've ever ridden! And this is coming from a die hard Kawasaki fan!

  • I don't know what everyones talking about? The ZX-6R puts out LESS horsepower than the GSXR 600. It's proven by many dynos. The GSXR puts out like 104.5 to the wheel, and the ZX-6R puts out about 102 to the wheel.

  • Suzuki great bike on the 80's and some 90's... now... Kawasaki does a better performance...

  • I wonder what the GSX-R 450 would look and feel like.

  • Suck-O-Yeah, get back to the loading docks, you dont belong in this sector of a man's world. You know nothing about motorcycles. Stick to the things you know about, make-up, personnal lubricants, rubbers, and dildos!

  • This is real racing, not just going in a straight line. Tired of people who think there hardcore just because they got a busa and beat smaller bikes in a straight line. If they go to a track, they will get smoked by way smaller engined bikes.

  • I dont see why everyone argues which one is faster. They are all so close in performance that you should just choose which bike you like based on the looks.

  • First off the vast majority of people here couldn't drive a 600 to anywhere close to it's limits. If so, post the vids of it. Second, Suzuki sells more 600's than any other make. I'm not saying it's the best because they are all quick bikes and within seconds of their limitations of each other. If you like the gsxr, great, if not, go buy something else. Why people come argue about it is retarded, Suzuki's pockets aren't hurting

  • well with all that have been said to me i think all the bikes are great at the end it's about the rider.

  • To be fair how many of use actually push are bikes to the limit? All this talk of horse power and this bikes better than that one i would say get the one that looks and feels best for you... :)

  • i really dont know how many riders go on the track and push their motorcycles to the limit...the gsxr600k8 is the best bike for street use and everyday use.and yes,i wanna see sequoyah monroe on my bike too:)

  • Lacks hp? Compared to the other 600's? Honestly i expected the cbr600rr to b the slowest (still love the fireblade though)

  • And you're right, cbr 600rr is the weakest one, if I have to list the 600 for general use (road/track/power/feeling):

    1) Suzuki GSX-R 600

    2) Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R

    3) Yamaha R6

    4) Honda CBR 600RR

  • The Yamaha has very little street useable power. It would definintely be last, because the Honda does have good midrange. You have to rev the piss out of the R6 to get any go out of it..... good for the track though.

  • Watching And Riding are Two Worlds i must say.

  • i wanna see sequoyah monroe on my bike...

  • they should of had the gsxr 1000 theres your horse power

  • You've got to be kidding! 600 is not like 1000. I have my K7 done to 65K and you can feel the power above 10000rpm., very stable at high speed, What I think the K8 has got is the new ABC mode plus the huge pipe and a better look with new head light. I'm looking forward to buy this newer model next year

  • r1 ftw gsxr1000 next in line.

  • lacks horsepower? pssssshh maybe he was shifting short..

  • its a top end bike and hell if you want more power put up 2 3 g and buy a trubo or just sell the 600 and buy a 750 or a 100 and if you want to see god buy a busa lol

  • Comment removed

  • it lacks horsepower ?

  • thats all relative, a r1 lacks power to a busa.

  • "Just got done riding" =\

  • for me, Miss Monroe is the best1

  • r6 is the best 600 in my opinion

  • GSXR600 is the best bro..

  • Triumph Daytona 675 ist the best ;P

  • best for what???

  • ... for me to poop on!

  • r6 ftw

  • R1 ftw

  • she is sexy

  • on the track: 1) 2009 r6 2) 2009 zx6r 3) 2009 cbr600rr 4)2009 gsxr600 around town: 1)2009 gsxr600 2)2009 cbr600rr 3)2009 zx6r 4)2009 r6 thats just my opinion
  • dUDE TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU..

WITH THE GSXR 600 BEING #1 ON THE STREET.

  • Good launch on dragstrip at 2:25

  • ownz1337 forgot ducati and agusta...

  • i don't know about gsx-r but the dude is veeeeery dude!!!!!!!!!!

  • a 600 will always be more fun to ride on the road or even a 750, i've had a go on all the litre bikes except the fireblade and sure all that mind blowing power is fun and they use less fuel but its useless on the road and gets you beyond your limits in a flash, at least with a 600 you enjoy listening to the engine working and still be in control(sometimes lol) and just have fun. fair play to those with 1000's but i wouldn't have one about me.

  • I agree the 2008 GSX 600R is extreme, but when I'm really getting on it I want as close to a full tank of gas as possible. It's so easy to pull the front end up. The bike seems much more stable with a full tank.

  • thats strange, i can nail my k7 gsxr600 in every gear except 1st without the front coming up though it does get very light at the front when it hits the higher revs in 2nd but all you gotta do is sit forward a bit on it to keep it behaving, its got the same wheelbase as the k8 aswell.

  • hmm. my k8 won't come up when i nail it in first gear. it's all stock of course. do you have aftermarket products on it?

  • on your 600 you should be able to give it full throttle just tap your rear brake if it starts to come up!

  • i am new to sport bike. can anyone name the 5 best bikes? iwant to know the porche of bikes

  • Everyone will tell you something different based on what they ride cause it is a personal preference but I'd say stick to the 600's for now atleast and my list would be

    1. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

    2. Suzuki GSX-R6

    3. Yamaha YZF-R6

    4. Honda CBR600RR

    5. Buell Lightning XB12Ss(now this one isn't as sporty but it's fun)

  • With all due respect to you buddy if you open the books of motorcycles history you would find the GSX R 750 1984 is considered by many as the GOD FATHER OF ALL STREET BIKES. Yes in 1984 the R -750 was ahead of it's time. So please a little respect to the GSX R family.

    Thanks

  • my brother had a gsx-750R 1987 model with a yoshimura exhaust system(manifold etc) and new lighter pistons racing clutches and some other stuff!!!it was awsome and could reach 300kmh easily! i have a great respect of these bike and for the 1100 of course:)

  • lol do you even know what your talking about? the gixxer is the father and the boss of all sports bikes, the rest are just imitations .. kawasaki is up there too.

  • can you tell me why they're terrible (suzuki) ? my brother had one and he seemed ok with it.

  • yea and if you dont insure your bike your gonna spend $10,000 to get another one when you total it.

  • do any of u guys insure there bikes?? i mean cmon its like 2 grand a year insuring this kind of bikes :P

  • of course, if you arn't 19, single, male, 11 speeding tickets, with 3 totalled bikes in two years, and the bike isn't a 2009 Gixxer 1K insurance is reasonable. $298 USD/year. Bike is 5 years old (but yes a sport bike)

  • thats good news man thx!,i was thinking of a 99 cbr 600, il have it when im 20 or 21, but i live in canada, not sure of the prices here, it should be similar

  • well i live the the us im 21 and i pay maybe 33 a month for full coverage i have an 05 gsxr 600

  • lolololol!!! yup, you'd be fu*ked.

  • These guys say the same shit about every bike... poor report...

  • zx6r or gsxr 600?

  • R6, fuck honda.

  • im wondering which type of 600 series would best fit a noob like myself im trying to decide on the GSXR-600 or the Yamaha R6 which by far i hear are good starter bike. i know the new GSX-R have a new 3 set mode adjuster to regulate your throttle speed. but i don't know much about the R6.

  • Get one that best suits what you like. None of us new riders will ever ride these bikes like professionals do. So pick one you like best and ride it. I like my 07 GSXR600..

  • Suzuki is the best beginner bike.

  • i'm, 18 and going for a 2008 yamaha r6 raven.

  • Dude that is wayyyyyyy to much bike... get a smaller bike to start!!!

  • yeah ok no.

  • I've read the R6 is Peaky. not much grunt below 10k. Good tech in it though... better track bike than street from what I've read.

  • hehe thebillinator:) both bikes are really nice, im not sure either, now i got a yzfr125 and when im turning 18 im going for one of them! im thinking of maiby buy a r6 then when i gets older buy a gsx 1000! gsx are so hawt:)

  • i plan on getting a gixxer 600 or r6 for starter streetbike,and im also a yz250 rider.please tell my wat u think

  • i mean me...

  • if your gettin a K8 get the R6. this years R6 has better performance than the Gixxer600

  • yea but a little least then 1 hp.R6 109.7 gsxr 600 109.0 hp.

  • its all up to the riders.

  • i dont think so much the same i wouldnt say the 600 is faster

  • i agree. specially if the 1000 is geared any at all, we love that 80+lbs tourqe.

  • 600cc 2004+ Is GOOOOOOD ENOUGH you will get planty of hp and speed ( top speed of 600cc is about 160mph 260-270km/h)

Second thing is those guys are pro wich means they used to drive 1000cc bikes wich is 2x more powerfull of course the guy is gona be wtf where the power....

2/3 of the drivers that starts whit a 1000cc there gona fail the first season.

50% of the drivers will fail down thier first season.

There are bikers that have fail down and there are drivers that will fail down.

  • Anyone have any suggestions for cheap insurance on this bike for a 23 year old first time rider? I got a quote for 1,300. a year. Also if the Honda CBR 600 or Kawasaki is cheaper.

  • I pay 80 dollars for a year from gieco. granted i am 32yo so.. when your 25 it goes down greatly. My bike is a suzuki bandit 600 so its not a sport bike. try geico though.

  • try allstate i got insurance for my gixxer 07 600 +my dads kawasaki 250 for under a grand so c what u can work out with allstate i found out they r the best for new drivers....geico sux!!!

  • How much are you paying a month?

  • hmmm since i havent ridden any of the 600s yet

i really wonder what they mean when they say

    "it lacks horse power"

i mean how much weaker is it that the r6 for example?

is it alot? or just comparative?

  • The 600's are still fast as ****, don't buy a liter bike unless you know how to ride.

  • yea i wasnt asking tho if a 600 is fast or not

or if i should get one

i was asking how big a power diff there is between an r6 and a gixxer600

  • about 2-5 horses...

  • hey guys im thinking of buying a bike which brand do u think is the best?... any idea will help... thank u... but i am already looking at buying ducati 848...is this a good bike?

  • ducatis unlike the japanese bikes keep there value longer but for first they r expensive second not as much of a good ride as a suzuki gsxr 600-1000...go 4 suzuki

  • At 2:24 it left the line pretty fast

  • y0o dofkavlog shut da fuckk uppp i he wants it 4 his first bike he can get it you to poor to even afford this bikee

  • Cool bike my bro has one and its sweet

  • Think this would be a good starter bike?

  • no..way too powerfull for a noob..i started off on a kawasaki ninja 250, very nice starter bike, or maybe even the ninja 500, but not the gixxer 600..big difference when you go from a sport bike to a SUPERsport bike..

  • i plan on getting a gixxer for starter streetbike, and im also a yz250.please tell my wat u think.

  • how the heck would you know if i couldnt afford one? i have a 07 gixxer 600.

  • litre bikes aren't everything, i've destroyed some litre bikes on my gsxr600 k7 before .. straight roads are for pussies.

  • i agree

  • yes it would be

  • its ok for a noob, im starting out on A 600 . my brother bought a 07 gsxr1000 as his first bike. its all about learning slow and not doing crazy sh** when u first get it. THROTTLE CONTROL!!!

  • gsxr1000 as a first bike?! no wonder people call americans dumb shits... you really are fucking stupid...

  • hes right but i started with a 07 gixxer 600 and i still havent had any wreck's just be careful

  • don't matter what kinda CC bike you get as long as you respect the bike and ride it carefully. But still getting a 1000cc for a first bike is little too much lol

  • Seems like the K8 is a great bike, I just can't get over how ugly the upper fairing/headlight are. I know it doesn't matter on the track but...ick. If only I could get the looks of the K6/7 on the current bike's platform...

  • i fully agree, i have an 07 and the head light faring is much nicer.

  • my 02 r6 is pretty quick i guess, i got it up to 160 on a open highway with no traffic around and i let off because its the fastest ive gone and i got a little nervous, i'm sure it could have gone higher, what do they top out at?

  • Don't be so sore coz you u can't have any candy kid, I'm a riding instructor from hell!! If you wanna know. :-&

  • you kidding...it was probably only slow cause you were too much of a pussy to go WOT out of corners. All in all all the 600s are very fast and very similar. Laptimes with an equal rider on all of them won't differ by that much.

  • "it only lacks some hp"..... it is a 600....

  • yes you're right...only a 600. Only has you know 1 horsepower for every 3.5 pounds or so. Are you dumb? Let me guess...you're a wanna be "stunnah" who thinks the pinacle of motorcycling is being able to wheelie a mile and do a burnout?

  • haha no actually that was commenting the rider..... i have an old 85' 450 its a two stroke and id be willing to put it up agains that....it doubles power inbetween 6 and 9 k. yeah i can do wheelies but id rather take it out to the country and enjoy the winding roads...

  • yamaha my love

  • Very bad test, No times no engine info...Make better test

  • Love it or hate it, the new Gixxer is currently the best of the bunch, Could do with a little weight loss though, suggest a full Yoshi TRC or R77 for that. Lots of reviewers gave a thumbs down for S-DMS but for MCUSA, it really is a nice addition to the Gsxr600. For those who are a bit more responsible (age 25 up) beginning their riding career this would be a great choice, + in 2/3 yrs time this will be the most sought after bike for beginners moving up the ladder of bike Machismo.

  • wtf?

"those who are responsible? (age 25 up)"

what the hell does that mean? and who the hell do you think you are?

  • It means that mostly people that are around the age of 18 and have a sport bike are popping wheelies on the freeway and in general riding with disregard for others on the road.

  • clearly. but im asking him what he means, by that. just because im 19 that makes me irresponsible??? so i shouldn't be sold a sportbike? when i already have a supersport? and yes damnit it is my first bike.

  • I don't think that he means that because you are 19 means your irresponsible. I think that he means that the probability of being irresponsible is greater.

  • kawasaki baby!

  • i wish the reviews would be more in-depth. every review seems interchangeable. "great breaks", "great bike" --- ok?

  • We tested the bikes at both Infineon and Thunderhill. That was not mentioned in the intro but was mentioned in the article.

  • Why are you people showing Thunderhill footage?

  • I'm ridding the new gsxr 600 for about one month, and i love it!!

  • Odd. At 1:30, they're not an Infineon anymore, they're at Thunderhill, which is 150 miles away at least.

  • ppl ... you cand die on a 125 ... hell eaven on a 50cc

  • In that respect, you can die standing there, or better yet, sleeping.

  • the 600 is the best seller because people who listen know that a 1000 isant a bike that most people should be driving, and those who listen stay alive!!!!!!!

  • or the people that ride 1000's know that they can handle it and know how to ride it.

  • Not all of 'em know what they are doing. You know there's always people who think they can, but can't, or people who know they can't, but claim they can.

  • haha yeah either way i know i can and i do lol
