Somethings just never change. I remember the Loyle Seymour Jewelry from like 62-63. Surely by now Mr. Seymour has passed away. Did his daughter take over the business? And the doughboy at the DeBardladen (not sure of the spelling) park, I remember that very well. And I attended at one point that Baptist Church, where was it 17,18th Street? My question is this-is the old Arlington School still standing.
I REMEMBER THE LINCOLN I SAW MY FIRST MOVIE THERE, IT'S ALIVE ... WEST HIGHLAND BORN AND BRED REMEMBER THE BESSEMER TWIN, Mc CLELLANS MY MOM USED TO TAKE US SHOPPING THERE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NEWS STAND GOT MY FIRST ICEE THERE, DOWNTOWN BESSEMER USED TO BE THE PLACE TO BE GOOD PEOPLE THERE

Yes, I remembered the Lincoln Theater, I used to go there as a little kid.

I've always thought that Bessemer would be a good site for an old 1950's or '60's movie.
